Challenges and Opportunities
I have been almost AWOL from blogging for a few weeks. There are several reasons:
- Bridal shop is insanely, impossibly busy;
- I am about 6 weeks from moving household;
- Dealing with a family member's illness/issues.
- Enjoyed a visit from my husband (working in another state, where I will soon join him.)
On the other hand, I have still managed to get some needlework done. Hopefully I can post something for next Needlework Monday. I finished the animal print skirt. I am knitting a bow tie. I acquired a box of Brown Sheep Wildfoote sock yarn at a bargain price. And I share with you an interesting article I may use with said sock yarn:

As I get older, I seem to knit more and more socks and fewer of other things. Maybe because the older I get, the colder my feet get?

It's funny how busy things seem to be in the winter months, and then it gets warm again and BAM! life gets crazy busy!
Good luck with your move @fiberfrau!
I hope you will find some minutes to relax in between all these things. It is wonderful that your bridal shop is so successful but working while moving is a real task. I hope you have a lot of help and everything runs smoothly.
ANd with the sock knitting… I feel you on the cold feet. I need a hot water bottle when I for longer sit at the desk and write, because my feet freeze 🥶
And the method is very tempting, would prevent my dreaded second sock problem.
Brilliant thanks for sharing
