Make the Choice, Make the Time
I have such a busy day! Furthermore, I overslept because I stayed up late (for me) last night. Does that give me an excuse to skip a day in the CTP Challenge? No! I am here, upright and breathing; able to make choices. So I choose to make this post before rushing off to work.
Even when it seems we have no choice, there is always a choice. To put this in perspective, here are some words from a Holocaust survivor:
Every day, every hour, offered the opportunity to make a decision...whether you would or would not submit to those powers which threatened to rob you of your very self, your inner freedom; which determined whether or not you would become the plaything of circumstance. (1)
People in dire circumstances still show their strength and dignity by making choices. Religious martyrs can choose to recant or to die. On the job you can choose to go the extra mile or cut corners. In your family you can choose to forgive or hold a grudge. Every day you can choose Netflix or building your business.
Make the most of every choice you make today!
