Hello guys,
Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.
Battle details:
I played with earth splinter. And my opponent used a dragon splinter against me.
It was a battle of total 28 mana cap with two rules:
Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the Knock Out ability.
Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled monster is killed.
I had my WIZARD OF EASTWOOD level 6, GOBLIN MECH level 8, GRUMPY DWARF level 5, DWARVEN WIZARD level 5, CYCLOPS level 6, BROWNIE level 2 and CREEPING OOZE level 4.
And my opponent had his/her cards as CAMILA SUNGAZER level 3, UNDEAD REXX level 8, THE GORLODON level 5, FIENDISH HARPY level 5, UNDEAD BADGER level 5, UNDEAD PRIEST level 1 and CREEPING OOZE level 5.
Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.
~WIZARD OF EASTWOOD. level 6
This summoner lowers armor of opponent's team by -2. It needs 3 mana.
Market.
I used this summoner because renting it was not as expensive as the rest of earth summoners.
~GOBLIN MECH. level 8
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: Piercing at level 1, Stun at level 6
This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attack(5), Speed (3), Health (8), Armor(7).
It has two abilities at this level which are-
Piercing: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage target's health.
Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
This card needs 10 mana.
Market.
A strong tank. Good for both offence and defence.
~GRUMPY DWARF. level 5
Edition: BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITY: Enrage at level 5.
This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (2), Health (3), Armor(2).
It has two abilities at this level witch are:
Reach: Melee attack monsters with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team.
Enrage: Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.
He needs 4 mana.

I had to use this monster- it was the theme for this week's challenge.
~DWARVEN WIZARD. level 5
Edition: PROMO
Rarity: EPIC
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Snipe at level 1, Stun at level 4.
This is a neutral monster, in this level it has magic attack(1), Speed (2), Health (5), Armor(1).
It has two abilities at this level which are-
Snipe: Targets enemy monster with ranged, magic or no attack that are not in the first position.
Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
This card needs 3 mana.

Another monster with a stun ability.
~ CYCLOPS. level 6
Edition: BETA
Rarity: RARE
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: RANGED
ABILITIES: Shield at level 3, Stun at level 6.
This is a neutral monster, in this level it has ranged attacks (3), Speed (1), Health (7).
It has two abilities at this level which are-
Shield: Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks.
Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
This card needs 6 mana.
Another monster with a stun ability. Also a tank if opponent would have sneak attack monsters.
~BROWNIE. level 2
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: EPIC
Element: EARTH
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: Haste at level 1, Inspire at level 4.
This is a earth monster, in this level it has melee attacks (1), Speed (4), Health (2).
It has one ability at this level which is-
Haster: All friendly monsters have increased speed.
Another ability at level 4 is Inspire: Gives all friendly monsters +1 melee attack.
This card needs 1 mana.

~CREEPING OOZE. level 4.

Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
ABILITIES: Slow at level 1.
This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (1), Speed (1), Health (1).
It has one ability at this level which is-
Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.
This card needs 1 mana.

On the battlefield.
My opponent had a scary team. Good thing that I was not relying solely on melee attacks.
I lost my pawns but my opponent was about to lose his tank.
Now I lost my tank and situation seemed to be very bad.
My team were still fighting back but at this point victory seemed unlikely.
Now both teams were barely alive.
Losing my mage would have meant losing a battle.
But he stood his ground...
And somehow carried my team to victory.
In this battle I won 26.462 Dec and 22 League Rating. My strategy worked well- my team had enough monsters with stun ability so I won.
I don't use GRUMPY DWARF often. But it is a decent monster.
I would like having more mages in my team.
