Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details:
I played with death splinter. And my opponent used a fire splinter against me.

rules.jpg

It was a battle of total 99 mana with two rules:
Armored Up: All monsters have 2 armor in addition to their normal armor stat.
Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned.

I had my MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 4, DARK HA'ON level 4, THE GORLODON level 6, CORRUPTED PEGASUS level 4, ANCIENT LICH level 3, CTHULHU level 2 and GELATINOUS CUBE level 6.
And my opponent had his/her cards as PYRE level 8, MAGNOR level 4, PIT OGRE level 8, SAND WORM level 10, FIRE ELEMENTAL level 6, SPARK PIXIES level 8 and CYCLOPS level 8.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

This legendary death summoner lowers all enemy ranged attacks by -1, gives Void ability to all friendly monsters, and prevents enemy monsters from healing.
Market.

In battle where all monsters started poisoned I really wanted to prevent my opponent's monsters from healing.

A strong tank and a theme of this week's challenge. But in this case I mostly chose this monster because it has Scavenger ability. I expected battle rule to kills some monsters from both sides and wanted to benefit from that.

This choice was hard. My team could have used another monster with a stun or maybe SAND WORM... But I already had a lot of damage dealers so I decided to pick this as my last monster. Scavenger and Heal combination could be useful in a battle with poison rule.

On the battlefield.

battle.jpg

My opponent had some strong monsters but it seemed that my team is better prepared for poison rule of this battle. I had multiple methods to either minimize poison damage or use it for my advantage.

battle round 2.jpg

Both tanks were almost dead. But my team had monsters with more health. And my opponent was about to lose a third of his team to a battle rule...This was very promising situation.

battle round 3.jpg

At this point I was sure that I will win. Taming the battle rule gave my already powerful team even greater power.

battle round 4.jpg

And so I won.

battle results.jpg

In this battle I won 20.221 Dec and 18 League Rating. My strategy worked well-my Scavengers outlasted my opponent's team.

DARK HA'ON is a great tank. I use it quite often.

I would like having SAND WORM in my team. Together with THE GORLODON they would do a lot of damage. But I also like my current team.

I hope that you enjoyed my battle. If you would also like to start playing splinterlands and earning by making posts about your battles or by making art inspired by splinterlands please consider using my referral link:
