We Are Paying Out BRO Daily To ALIVE Stakeholders - What The Heck Is The Big Deal?
In this post I share what the really big deal is about our daily payouts of BRO tokens to ALIVE stakeholders, I thought that most people knew this already but that turns out to not be the case, so get the details here, enjoy!

We Are Paying Out BRO Daily To ALIVE Stakeholders - What The Heck Is The Big Deal?
So in my post yesterday where I announced that we are now paying out 0.43 BRO tokens in total to ALIVE stakeholders every day, then I actually got some comments that was really shocking to me as it turned out that some people had absolutely no idea what the benefits of holding BRO tokens is.
They thought that the only use of holding BRO was to vote on Brofi, and then earning BRO by delegating tokens listed on Brofi to @brofi.
Well this is very far from the only use of holding BRO in your Hive-engine wallet, and it's not even scratching the surface as Brofi is the latest addition to the BRO token and the other benefits came before Brofi was even created.
BRO History
So let's look at the history of the BRO token, and sorry if my memory gets any details wrong, but I will only focus on the big picture here.
BRO started as a tipping token, anyone remember the Bro-fist comments made by their tipping bot in the early days?
I do not remember exactly when the tipping bot stopped operating, but the current printed tokens in circulation today is the max amount of BRO that will ever come into circlation, and that is just over 69k tokens, @raymondspeaks who is the guy behind the BRO token has made a contract with @themarkymark to not print any more, after Marky bought all outstanding sell orders of newly printed tokens, so what is now in the market is already issued tokens traded at market prices.
To increase the benfits of holding BRO tokens @raymondspeaks started to pay out dividends from @brofund and related accounts, and LEO was a big part of those dividends but also other Hive-engine tokens as well.
I do not remember the time that the dividends started to be paid out, but it was way before reaching the end of printing new tokens, unless my memory is completely toast.
In order to get more token voting power and increase curation rewards @raymondspeaks created @brofi, which then also means more dividends paid out to BRO token holders, and this was done after all printed BRO tokens had been sold.
Daily Dividends For Holding BRO
Now enough of the history lesson, so as I said you get daily payouts from @brofund and related accounts just for holding BRO in your H-E wallet, and here is mine in PeakD as that is the easiest place to get an overview and I hold just above 15 BRO, https://peakd.com/@flaxz/wallet/hive-engine

The screenshot shows the incoming transactions of the dividends paid out in the last 24 hours.

Note that these are daily payouts just for holding BRO, and also that your rewards vary depending on how much BRO you are holding.
So What's The Big Deal Again?
Now back to our daily payouts of 0.43 BRO to ALIVE stakeholders, so as an ALIVE stakeholder you get a part of that 0.43 BRO each and every day, and in relation to how big your ALIVE stake is compared to the sum of all ALIVE that is staked, and it is stake that you own which counts here.
So your ALIVE stake is earning you a daily passive income of BRO tokens, and if you keep those BRO tokens then you also get daily dividends paid out from @brofund and related accounts.
As you keep the BRO tokens you get for staking ALIVE then your passive income keeps on growing as well, since you get more dividends paid out from @brofund as your holding of BRO keeps on growing.
This is the big deal here, by staking your ALIVE tokens you are building yourself a continuously growing passive income, so make sure to keep the BRO tokens that you get, they are in limited supply and you get increasing daily dividends as they keep on growing.
