A TASTE OF HAPPINESS
The kids are still little and they would be needing the presence of an adult to take care of them, instruct them on what to do and be able to manage their activities. so I invited my little sister who is very responsive to manage the kids.
Two nights out were all I needed to satisfy this craving for a nice time alone.
I didn't want to drive, so I order a taxi( uber) to take me to the Marriott hotel Ikeja, Lagos state. My last visit to the Marriot hotel was for a friend's bridal shower night and it was fun. I made a promise to myself that if I get the opportunity to treat myself and have a beautiful time out, it would be Marriott Hotel Ikeja, Lagos state.
A drive From my home to the Hotel was about 30 minutes. I paid for a room, it was a beautiful suit just like the one we stayed in for the bridal shower, I also invited my husband as my guest for the night.
I needed to give my body a craving treatment, so I headed for the spa where I was given a massage, a mud bath, a steam bath and some herbal body mask. this procedure involves scrubbing from head to toe and flooding your face with steam. I went further to do my nails, manicures and pedicures to refresh my tired and tattered feet.
after my time in the spa, I took a long nap to regain and refresh myself.
A TASTE OF REAL HAPPINESS
It was dinner time and my wonderful guest just arrived My Husband time to eat, so we headed for the hotel restaurant where we enjoyed their special dinner.
My husband left for work in the morning, leaving me to continue my enjoyment the second day.
I had some time in the gym to keep fit and then I head for the pool, for another refreshing day. before I went into the pool I went to the shower to wash off and I opened my eyes to my shower in my bathroom if wishes were horses.
MY REALITY
I have never had a good treat for myself, I have only had beautiful dreams and wishes for a good time to enjoy myself with so much pampering.
It's the beginning of a new year just after we had a lovely Christmas holiday enjoying ourselves with families and friends. It's now time to pay big bills like school fees, house rent and many other long-term renewal bills.
it becomes so hard to plan a good self-treat when all the bills have to be paid.
The economy has affected a lot in the society and this has not given us the extra money and time for a self-treat.
DREAMS DO COME TRUE
it's free to dream and wish for a good self-treat because I know it can only get better and that one day my dreams would come to fruition.

It's good to take time off for ourselves from time to time especially when one has children. Children become the center of your world and you forget to spend time with yourself.

You got me, I was playing different videos in my head about when went down to the hotel in Ikeja but it was all fiction.
It is okay to dream and I believe that someday, you will be able to have the kind of good time you have always dreamt of.
😂 😂 my dear, its my greatest wish to enjoy my life oh. This hard economy is affecting everything now but I know it would pass and we would all be happy again to enjoy ourselves in a better economy.

My love, it's one of my biggest wish that I pray it comes through.
The bills are crazy these days that one could hardly save for a self-treat.
