My experience, The Weather

Different season, different weather.
In July, it's been raining cats and dogs. Beautiful weather for couples to mingle, cuddle and enjoy the warmth of one another I see why a lot of children are born in the month of April and May😍.

Going to work in this weather is very difficult especially when it rains, I get to work late and the commercial buses increase their fare because they know you have no option but to enter their bus.

It's beautiful weather but for mothers with a lot of kids, it's been terrible. Personally, when there is a power supply the washing machine helps out but I need sunlight to dry the cloth this makes me improvise the use of my standing fan to dry the cloth all through the night. So I bring in the cloth hanger inside my house, I put my standing fan towards the cloth hanger and it helps me dry the cloth. I get lucky some nights and there is power supply to help the drying process.

The weather affects a lot of children with cold, cough and catarrh. But with the experience I had living with my aunty, I know how to manage them. Last week I got some fruit from the market pineapple oranges and watermelon very important and a great natural source of vitamins. I give my kids fruit at lunch they already know what to do because am not home when they get back from school, no drinking of cold water, a hot bath in the morning and at night, they must always put on footwear because my floor is always cold, a lot I do just to manage them in this cold weather to prevent them from getting sick. It's easy but tasking and expensive.

On Saturday I attended a dear friend's wedding Hmm...
It rained all through yesterday because it's a close friend I had to attend the wedding in the rain. The venue is very close to my house, a walk to the wedding venue was all I did. See heavy rain disruption getting there was so difficult because it was still raining and the road was flooded. Drenched in the rain I still got there.
Why do people put do an outdoor wedding at the peak of the rainy season? It was supposed to be a colourful outdoor wedding but the rain on Saturday was so cold and wet. Wet Story for another day.
