Would you mind being tagged once a week in Leo Magazine?

The contest organized by idiosyncratic1 each week has been so interesting. The number of participants each week has been on the rise, and topics around various Leo projects are written about. The topic for last week's contest was about Leo Magazine. Of course you already know that Leo Magazine is a weekend publication (made every Sunday) that highlights great articles published in leofinance.io in the last 7 days.

Talking about last week's contest, one of the questions which contestants were asked to write about is found below:

What can be added to the form of LEO Magazine?

There have been so many suggestions made by contestants. Not too long ago (just today), @funshee one of the contestants was discussing with me and I really picked interest in one of the things she suggested. Let me just screenshot here comment below:

I have not thought about this suggestion before now. But once she mentioned it, I quickly knew it would be a nice way to give the Leo Magazine and articles featured in it a good publicity. Here, I decided to create awareness for this and make a request through this post for those that would not mind being tagged in subsquent Leo magazine editions.

Tagging some users on request In each Leo magazine publication is something that could be done in a nice way.

Kindly indicate with a comment on this post if you want to allow us to tag you each time (Sunday) we publish the Leo Magazine. Remember, that is just once every week. I will get those that asked to be tagged and forward them to my partner @zestimony

Why do we need permission to tag you?

For those that may be new on this platform, tagging another user could be done for good reasons. However, wrongly tagging another user regularly could be considered a type of spam. So the question below is really important:

To tag or not to tag

When to tag.. If you need to draw someone's attention to some that they need to check or know, then tagging the person could be a fast way to draw their attention. Once a person is tagged, they receive a notification that someone has mentioned them. For example, a new user that just made their introduction post could tag the person that recruited them to let them know that the introduction post is ready. This is an example of correct tagging.

Someone running a project, like a contest, could request participants to tag him/her in a comment or post. So if someone asked to be tagged in a particular post or comment, then its Ok to tag.

When not to tag: Do not tag someone just to draw their attention especially when they are complete strangers or have nothing special to do with the article or comment. Its considered abusive to tag for votes, which is the most common tag abuse we see on the platform.

Its generally not good to tag someone that you have no special connection with on the Hive platform

Support this initiative to create more awareness for Leo magazine

If you wouldn't mind, we will appreciate you supporting this idea. We really want to let many people become aware each time we publish the Leo magazine. Of course, our main aim of the magazine to generate more engagement for the featured articles. So if many people get to know that we have published the magazine, it will be easier to achieve our goal.

So if you wont see it as a disturbance to be tagged once a week, kindly make a comment under this post giving us the permission to tag you. Starting from the edition for next weekend, we will tag you in subsequent editions of Leo Magazine.

Please try to engage with at least one or more articles featured in the Leo magazine. That would be a great way to support authors whose publications have been featured. And if you continue to make great articles, it wont be long and your post might get a chance of being picked by us.
