Best Hive DeFi Diesel Pool

Best Hive DeFi Diesel Pool.

A look at why the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP is the best Hive DeFi Diesel pool for HIVE investors looking for higher returns.

If you’re bullish on HIVE, but still want a potentially higher return than the 10% you can get curating yourself, then you’ve gotta check out the new Hive DeFi option, known as Diesel Pools.

Hive DeFi LPs can be accessed through a number of Hive-Engine front-ends, but for this particular blog I’m going to be using my favourite known as BeeSwap.

Let’s dive straight in by bringing up BeeSwap, clicking the Swap tab and taking a look at why the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP tops my list of the best Hive Diesel Pools available to earn rewards.

BeeSwap divider.

Best Hive DeFi Diesel Pools featuring SWAP.HIVE

In my opinion, the best Hive DeFi Diesel Pools are the ones that feature SWAP.HIVE on one half of the LP.

This is because if you’re bullish on HIVE, but still looking for a DeFi option, then you don’t want to be cashing out your entire position in order to earn rewards.

If you were okay with this, then you could just be cashing out and taking the ridiculously good rewards on offer elsewhere in the DeFi space - Like Cub Finance on BSC for example.

However, you’re looking for Hive DeFi options because you want to keep your exposure to HIVE, but still put those tokens to work in an LP.

To keep things clear, click on Pools and put SWAP.HIVE into the search bar to filter only LPs featuring Hive Engine’s pegged version of HIVE.

So now a drumroll please…

Winner: The SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP

The best Hive DeFi Diesel Pool featuring SWAP.HIVE is the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP.

The best Hive DeFi Diesel Pool is the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP.

With rewards paid out in only SIM and a current APR of 26%, it’s hard to look past this particular LP.

If I’m looking for an LP with SWAP.HIVE exposure, I obviously want a somewhat stable, liquid token to pool with.

Not to mention rewards paid out in a single token, at an APR higher than the 10%ish I could be earning via curation.

While we have to remember that this is Hive Engine and it’s always going to be a bit of a struggle to find tokens that fit this description, SIM comes the closest to ticking all my boxes.

As the in-game token of the blockchain game dCity, SIM is actually soft-pegged to 0.005 HIVE.

With the price of SIM currently trading at 0.001, the token has currently lost its peg and is now trading at a huge discount.

With a plethora of in-game taxation mechanics designed to bring the price of SIM back to its soft-peg, any price outperformance in relation to HIVE, will see our position evened out by selling SIM to buy SWAP.HIVE.

An ideal outcome for those of us who are bullish HIVE, but want to continue pocketing stable, consistent LP rewards.

While some of the other LPs may offer higher returns, the rewards are often paid out in tokens that are illiquid and likely worthless in the long-run.

Thanks to dCity, SIM has a clear use case and at least a path toward price appreciation.

For me, it offers the clear best Hive DeFi Diesel Pool for those looking for SWAP.HIVE exposure.

Other Hive DeFi Diesel Pools

Honourable mentions have to go to the SWAP.HIVE:DEC and SWAP.HIVE:BEE LPs.

While DEC Diesel Pools count for the SPS airdrop, I still think you’re smarter pooling your tokens against BUSD on Cub Defi and pocketing the higher returns.

As for the SWAP.HIVE:BEE LP, the BEE side does offer a stable token to pair our SWAP.HIVE with, but at an APR of just 8%, you’re not really doing much better than simply using your HP to curate.

Leave a comment and let me know if you’re in any of the other Hive DeFi Diesel Pools featuring SWAP.HIVE.

I’d love to get a discussion going around some of the other pools and why they should be considered.

Best of probabilities to you.

Si realmente cree que el token SIM va a subir de precio, creo que resulta más rentable comprar dicho token y holdearlo hasta que vuelva a su paridad de 0.005$ que meterlos en una piscina junto con Hive.

What do you think of the PIZZA/SWAP.HIVE or any of those pools? I think it's been fairly good on development and they tend to payout quite a few tokens as well.

The thing is that I don't want a ton of tokens...

I know that's pretty much the opposite of how most here think, but I just don't want to end up with a shitload of worthless reward tokens.

All I want are streamlined, liquid rewards to compound and ultimately not to lose HIVE to impermanent loss.

For this reason, I see the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP as being the best option.

The ONEUP:SPT pool's paying out 300% ATM.

ONEUP:HIVE at just under.

I also like the SWAPHBD-BEE pool.

These incentivised Diesel pools have been a nice little growth area for sure!

Lads, talk to me more about this one.

I'm here to be sold on the merits of choosing to pool with HBD.

Well, HBD is a pretty nice stable coin, I expect it to keep its value by +/- 10%. Bee has been also relatively close to the HIVE price and has some interesting potential on the upside and constant demand due to the token and outpost creation. So this pool is to me a rather low risk option. There are two alternative BEE-pools, one with SWAP.USDT and one with SWAP.BUSD. They are all basically the same risk/reward in my opinion but I favor HBD to support our platform.

And I'm sold!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I've gotta look at adding some HBD and BEE options to my portfolio :)

ONEUP:HIVE at just under.

Ah yes, the SWAP.HIVE:ONEUP pool! :)

I was kind of fishing for this one to get mentioned, so thanks for bringing it up to allow another section to be written in the comments.

New Hive DeFi Diesel Pools

The SWAP.HIVE:ONEUP pool is one new Hive DeFi Diesel Pool that is also worth looking into.

The SWAP.HIVE:ONEUP LP has a massive APR on offer, but risks remain.

However, while those 300%+ APRs are certainly juicy, I still see a few question marks surrounding the longevity of this particular community token.

My ultimate goal in using Diesel Pools is to increase my HIVE stack, so I'm very wary of big impermanent losses on that side.

When choosing smaller, niche community tokens to pool with SWAP.HIVE, we've just gotta weigh up the risk of impermanent loss with the reward of those huge returns.

Only time will tell!

I think it has a decent chance of doing well - @flauwy is developing his own game to be run on Hive (no doubt there's a massive oneup sink right there), he's very well connected with the SL crew (possible use value linked to SL) , the !PIZZA community are all over it and this is an outward looking project, so I'm in BIG on this one.

And it's about games and NFTs, so it's got some focus unlike some of the generic tag communities.

Well, that is certainly a legit concern, if your goal is to maximize your HIVE while pooling. Nobody knows how ONEUP will perform in the near future and we still have a long way to go.

Check out the ONEUP pools where you pair against HIVE or SPT. These high APR will not last forever with ONEUP, as there are still relatively few tokens in circulation.

While I'm a little wary of entering the LP (see my reply to the comment above), I actually love the way that you have launched the ONEUP token and associated gaming community.

Honestly, everything has gone smoothly and the front-end looks instantly good and active.

Keep doing what you guys are doing :)

I'm right there with you and as a dCity player there is nothing better than getting my 1000+ SIM payout daily and buying a new card.

Not sure if you remember, but it was actually you that got me into dCity in the first place.

A year ago, you sold me a dCity 20 Card Starter Pack which back then, I paid for in STEEM haha.

Happy to report that I'm still loving the game and it was all thanks to you that I got started.

Cheers! :)

there is nothing better than getting my 1000+ SIM payout daily and buying a new card.

So you're always using your SIM LP rewards to buy new random cards?

Interested in hearing your thoughts or experiences on whether this is more profitable than simply re-investing back into the pool.

I absolutely do remember, glad to hear you're still playing.

As for the pool...when I got my daily payout up to 800 SIM I started buying a 2nd edition card a day and I've done alright.

In October I received:
Research Center 3
Farm 6
Stadium 1
Restroom 1
MIC 3
Social Aid Office 1
Nuclear Plant 4
Wind Turbine 4
Solar Plant 2
Ad Agency 1
Park 1
Forest 1
Job Center 1

May have missed a day or two but after looking at this list I'd say I've done alright. I was re-investing back in at first but wanted that "free" card everyday.

I'm quite a novice when it comes to investing and I kind of zone out when it comes to math and charts and things of that nature, but I do love dCity and have a good feeling about the direction/future of the game.

I have not added to the pool in a bit but after reading this post I am getting the FOMO, so as soon as beeswap gets more swap.hive in stock I think I'll be adding another 100K SIM :)

Cheers my friend

I love this pick, its easy to imagine SIM going up and getting 'impermanent losses' in favor of more HIVE. Brilliant!

Another thing to consider is the upcoming BXT (beeswap token) airdrop!

Plus on the SIM side you are also getting ~70% apr on SIM value - in HIVE! (Holding rewards). There is a lot to love about this pool.

Can SIM outperform HIVE?

In my opinion, new users will eventually discover our little dCity gem and SIM outperforming HIVE is a real possibility.

dCity is the best gamified DeFi option out there - Hands down.

In this lull period, taxation game mechanics that limit supply means we're actually seeing the SIM price remain relatively stable.

But what do you think is going to happen when the demand side mechanics driven by new users kicks in?

We've just gotta get the word out ;)

Another thing to consider is the upcoming BXT (beeswap token) airdrop!

BeeSwap Token (BXT) airdop?

Did somebody say airdrop? -triggered haha

I actually had not heard about this before but just Googled it and found your 'what we know so far about the DEFI foundations being built under dCity' blog.

Do you have any up to date news on what's happening with the development of this token and how using BeeSwap will benefit BXT holders?

Earning SIM holding rewards - Paid in HIVE

Yep, it's worth noting that you also earn HIVE rewards for simply holding SIM in the LP.

So while the LP rewards are paid out in SIM, you're also earning HIVE rewards from the game itself, paid directly into your account.

You can then conveniently pair your SIM and HIVE rewards back up to quickly compound your position in the LP.

All excellent talking points, thanks for stopping by and encouraging me to expand on them :)

Hey thanks for sharing, I use to read many articles by filtering a specific word and I just came across with this amazing post, so ... I have a few questions but ... Where to start lol
Well, do you think that using the DEC:SPS pool is worthless ? I'm not exactly an expert in this field, liquidity pools seem very risky but when it comes to crypto anything could happen you know.
I'm so into this concept of DEX, very interesting your content I'll stay tuned

Where and how exactly did you find this post?

I definitely don't think the DEC:SPS LP (or any of the DEC pools for that matter), is worthless!

Diesel Pools count for the SPS airdrop, so you really can't go wrong adding to this pool if you are earning those tokens playing Splinterlands.

But I want to use Hive DeFi to put my HIVE to work, with the end goal of earning more HIVE - Not Splinterlands assets.

I just see the SWAP.HIVE:SIM LP as a potentially smart, stable way of achieving this goal.

Well you know when I get my work done and I finally have some "free time" I use to scroll on the hive trending , in this time I typed out the key words "best Defi" on the hiveblog searcher and I found another article related to stable coins and I stalked a bit more and got here 😅

Liquidity pools boost my curiosity, the other day I swapped a few hives and got SPS , so yeah my idea in that time was getting more airdrop points, however I'm interested in getting more hive or as you said to put hive to work and being ready fir the upcoming claimdrop of SPK network, so now I'm reading about these things to get profit you know ...
