So ive been quiet a while, silently celebrating and analyzing some moves I had made in my foresight! (or more likely by my luck. I bought 4 copies of this gold foil dragon summoner today. Lets Rewind.

• What Happened???
  

1. I am relatively new to crypto for about 2 years and I am very skeptical of every new investment or token and usually move very slowly and ive yet to hit a crypto that Ive really made a big windfall from so in the past when I bought crypto sometimes I would pay fees as high as 10% to 15% of my capital to go from fiat to crypto. So when I saw we could load fiat into the game through paypal with 0% fees, I was so happy because this was so easy and safe compared to my past experiences.
   
2. So I bought a bunch of credits, intenting to buy packs of cards. So i took advantage of the highest bonus deal for the legendary and alchemy potion. Yes you can laugh, I have 2900 of each potion and have yet to use 1 in game so far!! Then as I did more research I realized the recent edition UNTAMED had been sold out, and the follow up, DICE.
   
3. After that debacle I said let me play the game for a while and see if I can figure out which cards are useful and desireable by being decimated by them. So I did this for 2 weeks and then i couldnt help it I made basic investments for my lvl 1 deck and bought 3x copies of main cards so I could delegate to my girlfriend and bestfriend who both like the game but are too cheap to invest 100 dollars in a video game.
   
4. After doing research I was immediately lured to try and rise to the higher leagues to take advantage of the extra chests from doing the dailys, because once you reach Silver III you are earning more chests from the daily chest than from the reason rewards. At Silver III each daily is 2 chests and the season reward is 12 chests and the season lasts 14 days so daily provides 28 chests while season reward yields 12. Now lets look at Gold III which I was recently able to obtain:

• As we see in the above chart, in Gold III each daily yields 6 chests while the season reward is 22 chests. So over the course of a 14 day season we receive 84 chests from dailys while the season reward yields 22 chests. And it continues up exponentially from there as you climb to higher leagues. So I needed CP and a deck.

• Then you will see a screen show up like this. This was the result when I pulled it at the time of writing the article.

On the right side we see how much "Collection Power" 1 U.S. Dollar will buy you for each individual card, best deals are highest CP per USD. Low CP per dollar is NOT a good deal. As you can see the best deals on screen one are in the range of 26-28 Collection Power per dollar. When I made my first investments in the game in the days leading up to the Chaos Legion pre-sale announcement. It seems the market participants expected the packs would be opened immediately and cause a flood of cards on the market and also correctly anticipated a likely meta shift when the new packs come out and also the uncertainty of the release of Wild and Modern League formats. Many people thought they were smarter than everyone else and dumped hard in the days leading up to voucher announcement and this was my opportunity. Back then I was buying gold foils between 45 and 60 CP per us dollar. I followed my typical method of buying 2-3 of cards i want to use instead of just one. Within 2-3 days every single card I had purchased for CP had spiked. I sold all my dupes. most in the range of 50-100% gains in less than a week. The cards I sold continued up, but my experience in stocks tells me to not be greedy and take a profit to reduce risk. Also I had calculated that when I sold those cards I would receive more DEC than the collection power the card provides, so net net, the profit taking would add to my airdrop points comparing to if I had just held the card. Also please take note, all purchases were made using credits on monster market, they give you cashback in the form of DEC when you purchase, so not only did I change fiat to crypto with no fees using paypal, then when I bought the cards I wanted I recieved free DEC. Then when I sold the cards I 3x-4x my airdrop points from that card.

So now that packs are expected to be opened in a few weeks, I had a feeling we are in for another wave of crazyness. First prices tanked again from the next batch of paper hands who thought they were smarter than everyone. Prices shot down and back up so quickly as people bought out entire collections of those who wanted to press down on the market by selling. Woops! Now I am eyeing Gold II as it seems my silver built deck tends to have me sitting in gold II rating wise, but that ratio is 2x as expensive as when I had bought. And also 4 of the 5 highest CP per dollar ratios are non gold foil cards, so get ready to buy 100s if you want those. I clicked summoners on the right side by accident almost because it was a no brainer that summoners would be astronomically more expensive than normal cards, thats what ive always seen since i have played. Then I see this screen:

Wow! 3 different Gold Foil Summoners all going for 20 CP per USD!!! So not only do these summoners allow us to play higher level cards when upgraded, they also provide 10% bonus DEC per win when used because of Gold foil. But #2 and #3 cost over $2000 per card, a bit out of my price range and not sure if those go well with my deck plans. But Kretch, this guy will allow me to play any deck in combination with Dragon decks. So I looked at the below chart, and considered there only exists 677 of these cards in the game, and they are no longer printing.

I realized by combining just two of these cards, id have a level 3 gold foil dragon summoner capable of playing cards from any splinter up to Silver league caps (5 common, 4 rare, 3 epic, and 2 legendary). Each individual kretch commands a whopping 10,000 Collection Power. So, I planned ahead, I bought 4, because what If i want to make him a permanent part of my gold deck down the road? So now I will rent the Kretch out for 88 DEC a day and wait till whatever comes first, the Day I need to combine and use him, or the day his value skyrockets and I can sell 1 or 2 back into the market. Pretty cool that I own 4 bcx out of 677 of the entire game for this card. If you want one of these act fast, last I looked was only 5 bcx on market. Cheers and best wishes everyone!
