Saturday Savers Club! Week #8 April 23rd, 2022 ---Taking advantage of 200% APR in Splinterlands---

Welcome back to another edition of the Saturday Savers club. Please remember everything that follows is an account of my situation and my opinions, and are not financial advice. Today I am happy to report substantial progress towards my end goal for 2022 of:

- 5000 Hive Power, 200,000 SPS, 50 EDSM staked, 100 EDS, and 300 SPI.

• Accumulation needed to achieve goal Based on estimate of 30 days/month, 40 weeks for 10 months for 2022:

- As of March 3rd 2022 when I set my 2022 goals, these were my balances:

=====HIVE POWER=====

• As of right now I have reached 8244 Hive Power so I have met an exceeded my goal for the year! The current hive price is $0.944 USD per hive. Hive has increased by about 1% or 0.01 usd since we last checked in. I still believe we are in a bottoming/consolidation phase.

• I've gained a total of 7 Hive Power this week. My accumulation of hive has been sidelined and I have chosen to direct my hive income towards Splinterlands currency SPS and DEC. I see a bright future for hive still but I see a greater short term opportunity in those assets.
  

• I have been able to transform my curation rewards into direct liquid hive payments by delegating out my hive power at Dlease. Normally curation rewards come as hive power, which would take quite a long time to power down in order to be able to utilize for other investments. But Dlease delegations are paid in liquid hive, so I can harness that passive income for other purposes, and when I favor holding hive, I can stop leasing out my power and collect curation rewards with my stake.

=====SPS=====

• This week I gained a total of 0 staked SPS. I STILL stand 19,000 Staked SPS away from my 2022 goals. The current SPS price is $0.129 USD or 0.1359 hive each. SPS is down about 1 penny or around 10% since we last spoke. This next week in my opinion are ideal times to accumulate sps, on April 26th we have the final VC unlock of 20 million sps, which could take us down to $0.10 if there are no buyers and put in a formal bottom once and for all in sps, it was vital sps didnt rally too far before these investors get out. Then we can start moving upwards with force.

• Last week I took my SPS airdrop from 90 SPS a day to 175 SPS a day nearly doubling it. Adding 85 SPS a day in income. This week although my growth slowed, I continued moving on a consistent basis in the right direction.

• So this week my airdrop went from 177.7 SPS a day to 211.8 SPS a day, an increase of 34.1 SPS a day, over the course of 94 airdrop days remaining, this increases my total SPS income by 3196 SPS.

• I've been able to accomplish these increases these past 2 weeks with asset allocation shifts, and application of passive income to add to SPS and/or DEC holdings depending on which is not gaining in comparison to the other. I am then adding my SPS income from airdrop and staking rewards and pairing them with DEC from rental income, and battles and building my SPS/DEC pool which allows me to earn approx. 200% APR on both assets paid in the SPS airdrop. This also allows me to have a pool of SPS that is liquid and can be utilized at the time SPS validator licenses become available for sale.

• EDS position has grown by 11.92 EDS this week, I love that EDS, the token you mine with EDSM, pays out weekly liquid hive. A major thing I look for and desire in my diversified portfolio, are additional sources of hive and swap.hive. A source of HBD would be amazing but I've found none as of yet. I starting acquiring EDS on the open market this week to supplement mining income.

=====SPI=====

No significant updates regarding SPI, I want to acquire more, but I have to get around to this one, perhaps after the SPS airdrop ends I can direct my full focus on this goal.
