In this case the must-see is the Rambutan, once you know it, it is impossible to forget about it, its exquisite flavor and enjoyment is magical, I love it because its inner texture is soft and pleasant to the palate with its sweet touch and a little sour in some.

Rambutan is a fruit native to sudeste asiático. Malaysia is the world's largest producer.

In Latin America it is known in some places as Chinese mamon, Achiotillo or lichas

In Mexico, this fruit is grown on a large scale in the state of Chiapas.

It has an outer appearance like a tangle or pulp.

It is usually consumed in its natural state, but it is also made into a delicious refreshing drink. There are artisans who make liquor and candy from rambutan.

You can enjoy this fruit in salads and syrups, jellies and jams, it is very rich if combined with yogurt and in some desserts.

This fruit is rich in vitamin D, C, vitamin A, D, minerals such as folic acid and potassium, fiber and excellent for quenching thirst due to its high water content.

It is attributed properties such as helping to eliminate parasites, lower fever, is often used to control diabetes and in some cases in cancer.

It is recommended to consume 2 to 3 a day due to its high calorie content.

This year a bird visited my garden and from his visit he left me a seed that in time has become this beautiful plant. To my surprise I asked the gardener and he told me it was rambutan, today I am looking for it to show it to you and take a picture of it so that you can recognize its leaves.

I have been reading and this variety of plant grows like a tree if planted in soil but it can also develop and bear fruit in pots, which I think is fabulous because in a pot is how I can have it.

The rambutan for ignorance of its properties is a fruit that does not have much demand, but today I discover that it is like a pearl.

WhatsApp Image 2021-09-16 at 10.31.39 PM (2).jpeg

Its fruit develops in a very ugly envelope that some say resembles the structure of the coronavirus.

The inner seed should not be used or consumed as it is poisonous.fuente

I hope that when you see this fruit you will not hesitate to consume it because its properties and benefits are many for health and as for the diversity of its uses in gastronomy, it is up to your imagination.
