Saludos, mis cripto entusiastas amigos de Hive Blockchain. En esta ocasión quiero presentarles una opción de ganancias u obtención de rendimientos para nuestras criptomonedas. Se trata del DEX o exchange descentralizado SushiSwap, el cual, como menciono al principio, por ser una dApp descentralizada, significa que no existe una organización central que dirija el exchange, por lo que no se necesita ningún ente intermediario para que los usuarios realicen operaciones o accedan a servicios como: intercambio o compra de criptomonedas, préstamos flash, yield farming y staking de tokens, enmarcados todos estos como servicios financieros DeFi y disponibles en esta aplicación. Debo aclarar, antes de seguir, que este post no pretende servir como un consejo financiero o asesoría de inversión, sino más bien como una forma de entretenimiento y educación en este tema de las finanzas descentralizadas o DeFi. Por lo tanto, te aconsejo que busques la asesoría de un experto en esta área y que realices tus propias investigaciones y estudios relacionados con este tema tan fascinante. Using SushiSwap, an Excellent Decentralized DEX

Greetings, my crypto enthusiasts friends from Hive Blockchain. On this occasion, I want to introduce you to an option for earning or obtaining returns for our cryptocurrencies. This is the **DEX or decentralized exchange SushiSwap, which, as I mentioned at the beginning, being a **decentralized dApp, means that there is no central organization that runs the exchange, so no intermediary entity is needed for users to perform operations or access services such as exchange or purchase of cryptocurrencies, flash loans, yield farming, and token staking, framed all of these as DeFi financial services and available in this application. I should clarify, before continuing, that this post is not intended to serve as financial advice or investment advice, but rather as a form of entertainment and education on the topic of decentralized finance or DeFi. Como mencione al principio, SushiSwap es un exchange descentralizado fundado en 2020, construido en la red de Ethereum y que se basa en el uso del protocolo AMM, que significa palabras más, palabras menos, creador automatizado de mercado (Automatic Market Maker). Esto quiere decir que este DEX utiliza contratos inteligentes para hacer funcionar los pool o piscinas de liquidez y de esta forma, permitir los intercambios de criptomonedas en la aplicación. Se trata de una bifurcación del conocido Uniswap, por lo que mantiene ciertas características de este exchange, aunque el token que se obtiene por aportar liquidez al protocolo se denomina SUSHI, el cual también funciona como token de gobernanza dentro del exchange. SushiSwap ofrece soporte para las cadenas de bloques Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Harmony y muchas otras, por lo que se tiene oportunidad de interactuar con una diversidad de criptomonedas dentro de la aplicación.

As I mentioned at the beginning, SushiSwap is a decentralized exchange founded in 2020, built on the Ethereum network, and based on the use of the AMM protocol, which stands for Automatic Market Maker. This means that this DEX uses smart contracts to run the pool or liquidity pools and thus, enable cryptocurrency exchanges in the application. It is a fork of the well-known Uniswap, so it maintains certain characteristics of this exchange, although the token obtained for providing liquidity to the protocol is called SUSHI, which also works as a governance token within the exchange. **SushiSwap offers support for Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Harmony and many other blockchains, so you have the opportunity to interact with a diversity of cryptocurrencies within the application.

Pools o Piscinas de liquidez

Una parte fundamental de un DEX basado en AMM, son los pools o piscinas de liquidez. A través de estos pool, se genera la liquidez necesaria de las criptomonedas y token, para permitir la comercialización o intercambios de estas criptomonedas y token. Una característica interesante de este aspecto, es que cualquiera puede aportar liquidez a las piscinas disponibles y obtener ganancias de las operaciones que se realicen en las criptomonedas o token que ha colocado en la piscina. Las transacciones en SushiSwap, tienen una tarifa de 0.30% y de este porcentaje, 0.25% se distribuye entre los usuarios que proveen liquidez en las piscinas, ganancia esta que va a estar condicionada al monto que aporten como liquidez. Esta funcionalidad lo convierte en una excelente opción para obtener ganancias y rendimientos interesantes con nuestras criptomonedas. Las ganancias se obtienen en token LP y a la vez, se pueden depositar estos tókenes ganados en las granjas de rendimiento de SushiSwap y obtener aun más recompensas.

Liquidity Pools

A fundamental part of a DEX based on AMM, are the pools or liquidity pools. Through these pools, the necessary liquidity of cryptocurrencies and tokens is generated to allow trading or exchanges of these cryptocurrencies and tokens. An interesting feature of this aspect is that anyone can carry liquidity to the available pools and profit from the trades made on the cryptocurrencies or tokens they have placed in the pool. Transactions in SushiSwap, have a fee of 0.30% and from this percentage, 0.25% is distributed among the users who provide liquidity in the pools, this profit is going to be conditioned to the amount they contribute as liquidity. This functionality makes it an excellent option to obtain interesting profits and yields with our cryptocurrencies. Earnings are obtained in token LP and at the same time, you can deposit these earned tokens in SushiSwap performance farms and get even more rewards.

Conectándose a SushiSwap

Para conectarnos a SushiSwap, necesitaremos una billetera de criptomonedas de custodia, como MetaMask o, como en mi caso, la nueva Billetera del Navegador Brave. Los pasos son, en general, muy parecidos en cada monedero y realmente es un proceso muy sencillo y fácil de aplicar. Para ello, iremos al sitio web de SushiSwap y haremos click en Enter App.

Connecting to SushiSwap

To connect to SushiSwap, we will need a custodial cryptocurrency wallet, such as MetaMask, TrustWallet or, as in my case, the new Brave Browser Wallet. The steps are, in general, very similar in each wallet and it really is a very simple and easy process to apply. To do this, we will go to the SushiSwap website and click on Enter App.

Se abrirá el sitio principal para el Swap de criptomonedas. Aquí podremos realizar los diferentes intercambios con nuestras criptomonedas, pero primero deberemos conectar nuestra billetera. Para ello, click en el botón Conect Wallet arriba a la derecha o abajo en el centro de la pantalla. En la ventana que se abre, seleccionaremos nuestra billetera de las disponibles para la aplicación, por lo general MetaMask.

The main site for the cryptocurrency Swap will open. Here we will be able to perform the different exchanges with our cryptocurrencies, but first, we will have to connect our wallet. To do this, click on the Connect Wallet button at the top right or bottom center of the screen. In the window that opens, we will select our wallet from the ones available for the application, usually MetaMask. in Enter App.

La billetera MetaMask o la que estés usando, pedirá confirmar la conexión a la aplicación, por lo que deberás autorizar dicha operación. Para ello, acepta las confirmaciones que te pedirá la extensión de la billetera y al completar este procedimiento, deberás aparecer con tu monedero conectado a SushiSwap.

The MetaMask wallet or the one you are using will ask you to confirm the connection to the application, so you will have to authorize this operation. To do this, accept the confirmations that the wallet extension will ask you for and when you complete this procedure, you should appear with your wallet connected to SushiSwap.

Cuando ya tengamos nuestra billetera conectada al DEX, podremos realizar las operaciones de Swap por las criptomonedas o token que queramos y que estén disponibles. En primer lugar, asegúrate de tener las criptomonedas o token necesarios de la red que vayas a operar, a fin de pagar las comisiones que se generen, además de estar ubicados en la red que corresponda. En mi caso, voy a intercambiar un poco de MATIC por WMATIC, por lo que estoy ubicado en la red Polygon y tengo MATIC disponible para pagar las comisiones. Para cambiar de red, solo haz click en el logo arriba a la derecha y en la ventana que se abre, selecciona la red de la criptomoneda que deseas operar.

Once we have our wallet connected to DEX, we will be able to perform Swap operations for the cryptocurrencies or tokens we want and that are available. First of all, make sure you have the necessary cryptocurrencies or tokens of the network you are going to operate, in order to pay the commissions generated, in addition to being located in the corresponding network. In my case, I am going to trade some MATIC for WMATIC, so I am located in the Polygon network and I have MATIC available to pay the commissions. To switch networks, just click on the logo at the top right and in the window that opens, select the network of the cryptocurrency you want to trade.

En la opción de Swap deberemos escoger el par de monedas que deseamos intercambiar, para eso, seleccionalos de la lista disponible de token en el exchange. He seleccionado MATIC por WMATIC, la versión envuelta de este token y que usaré posteriormente en PolyCub. Debes colocar la cantidad exacta que deseas cambiar del primer token.

In the Swap option we will have to choose the pair of coins we want to exchange, for that, select them from the available list of tokens in the exchange. I have selected MATIC for WMATIC, the wrapped version of this token that I will use later in PolyCub. You must enter the exact amount you want to exchange from the first token.

Luego se abrirá la ventana de tu billetera donde se te informaran los detalles del intercambio y las tarifas que se aplicaran a dicho cambio. Acepta la transacción en tu billetera y luego de unos pocos segundos, se te mostrara una ventana emergente donde SushiSwap te informa que el intercambio se completó sin problemas.

Then your wallet window will open where you will be informed of the details of the exchange and the fees that will be applied to the exchange. Accept the transaction in your wallet and after a few seconds, you will be shown a pop-up window where SushiSwap informs you that the exchange was completed smoothly.

De esta forma, podrás usar el DEX SushiSwap para realizar intercambios de tus criptomonedas favoritas, lo cual es un proceso sencillo y simple. Si no sabes como conseguir tus primeras criptomonedas para utilizar SushiSwap, puedes comprar las versiones vinculadas de algunas criptomonedas y token en HiveEngine. En mi caso, he comprado SWAPMATIC y luego los he enviado a mi billetera de Brave, donde los recibo como MATIC, lo cual es tas sencillo como dar click en Retirar, colocar la dirección de tu billetera de la moneda en cuestión y, en pocos segundos, las tendrás en tu saldo. Puedes conseguir, también, versiones vinculadas de ETH, BTC o USDT, las cuales adquieres como SWAPETH, SWAPBTC y SWAPUSDT y al transferirlas a tu billetera, recibirás dichas criptomonedas. En mi próxima publicación, te estaré mostrando como unirnos a los pools o piscinas de liquidez, y también, como aportar liquidez en PolyCub, el gran proyecto DeFi de @leofinance.
