Humanities ~ What are they and why are they important today? ~ [ENG|ESP]
¡Bienvenidos amigos! espero que todos anden perfectamente mientras leen mis palabras, hace unos días fui invitado a una iniciativa bastante especial en el que tenemos que responder algunas preguntas e invitar a algunos Hivers, ya saben, nada que no conozcamos ya en la plataforma, sin embargo, el tema a discutir si que es algo interesante, pues se trata de las humanidades, de la importancia que tiene, si tiene un lugar en la web y si pueden darse propuesta para promoverlas, sin embargo, es pertinente primero definir que son estas, al menos para mi, antes de comenzar quiero agradecer a @filoriologo y a @izzieperez por tomarme en cuenta e invitarme :D ¡Gracias! yo nunca me entero de las iniciativas a menos que me inviten jajaja, ahora si, comencemos.
Welcome friends! I hope everyone is walking perfectly while reading my words, a few days ago I was invited to a very special initiative in which we have to answer some questions and invite some Hivers, you know, nothing that we do not already know on the platform, however, the topic to be discussed is something interesting, because it is about the humanities, the importance it has, if it has a place on the web and if there can be proposals to promote them, however, it is relevant to first define what these are, at least for me, before I start I want to thank @filoriologo and @izzieperez for taking me into account and invite me : D Thank you! I never find out about initiatives unless I'm invited hahaha, now yes, let's start.
Ciertamente para mi no es un tema sencillo el abordar las humanidades, pues, no tengo un basto conocimiento del mismo, pero creo que las humanidades no son mas que el estudio de lo que nos caracteriza como seres humanos, eso que nos diferencia del resto de seres que habitan este planeta, es un poco complicado de explicar, pero se basa en todo aquello que nos hace hace seres humanos y todo lo que tiene que ver con nosotros, pensamientos, actividades, nuestro cuerpo, nuestras creencias y culturas a lo largo y ancho de la historia. Me parece que tiene cierta conexión con la filosofía, pues es el cuestionarnos nuestra existencia me parece que es algo que hasta ahora solo nosotros podemos hacer.
Certainly for me it is not a simple topic to address the humanities, because I do not have a vast knowledge of it, but I think the humanities are nothing more than the study of what characterizes us as human beings, that which differentiates us from other beings that inhabit this planet, it is a bit complicated to explain, but it is based on everything that makes us human beings and everything that has to do with us, thoughts, activities, our body, our beliefs and cultures throughout history. It seems to me that it has a certain connection with philosophy, because it is the questioning of our existence, it seems to me that it is something that so far only we can do.
Creo que indagar acerca de que somos, y que historia tenemos detrás es una de las tareas mas nobles que hay, sin mencionar que muchos a veces nos encontramos perdidos pues no sabemos a que venimos, ni de que somos capaces, creo que las humanidades revelan de que somos capaces, de que estamos hechos y como podemos diferenciarnos de cualquier ser, haciéndonos sentir únicos y capaces.
I believe that inquiring about who we are, and what history we have behind us is one of the noblest tasks there is, not to mention that many times we find ourselves lost because we do not know what we come from, nor what we are capable of, I believe that the humanities reveal what we are capable of, what we are made of and how we can differentiate ourselves from any other being, making us feel unique and capable.
¿En la era en que todos necesitamos salud mental y paz mental con urgencia? definitivamente, las redes y la sociedad han hecho cosas que en hace 30 años jamás se lo hubiesen pensado ni el mas genio de todos nosotros, las humanidades, a mi parecer, crean ese sentimiento de que soy un ser vivo pensante, que puede lograr avances en el mundo o que puede encontrar las respuestas a la existencia del ser, además en la red hoy día, el ser humano se encuentran muchísimo mas presente que en el mundo real en ocasiones, nada mas hay que poner de ejemplos juegos en línea o las comunidades que se forman, colaborando entre distintos grupos para lograr un objetivo, algo muy parecido en los tiempos tribales, donde antes formados por grupos luchábamos por la supervivencia y luego por territorios, y también vivíamos en armonía, creo que hoy en día también se puede encontrar mucho de eso, sobretodo n l a red, por lo que si creo que en esta era digital hay espacio para las humanidades.
In the age where we all need mental health and peace of mind urgently? Definitely, networks and society have done things that 30 years ago would never have been thought of even by the most genius of us all, the humanities, in my opinion, create the feeling that I am a living thinking being, who can make progress in the world or who can find the answers to the existence of being, also in the network today, the human being is much more present than in the real world at times, just take for example online games or communities that are formed, collaborating between different groups to achieve a goal, something very similar in tribal times, where before formed by groups we fought for survival and then for territories and also lived in harmony, I think that today you can also find much of that, especially in the network, so if I believe that in this digital age there is room for the humanities.
Creo que una sana manera de promoverlas es con iniciativas, sin embargo, yo considero que esta no es la manera mas efectiva a largo plazo, sirve para el corto plazo pero eventualmente, se va perdiendo el interés, tal vez un programa de radio o un Podcast donde se inviten a distintas personas de la plataforma a hablar sobre experiencias interesantes podría servir mejor, sumado con concursos de arte digital o plástico.
I think that a healthy way to promote them is with initiatives, however, I consider that this is not the most effective way in the long term, it works for the short term but eventually, interest is lost, perhaps a radio program or a Podcast where different people from the platform are invited to talk about interesting experiences could serve better, coupled with digital or plastic art contests.

Grandioso post querido amigo! Fantástico que te animaras a participar. Has tocado un punto importante y que debemos considerar y es la cuestión de la salud mental. A veces nos hacemos los locos, y entre tanta digitalidad olvidamos que muchas veces puede ser tóxico. Y nuestro deber es mantenernos en bienestar. Gracias por proponer la idea de un podcast, honestamente no lo había considerado pero lo pensaré.
