Splinterlands | I accidentally bought a quest potion yesterday
Yesterday I was browing the splinterlands store to check what can be bought with credits these days. Before I knew it I accidentally purchased a quest potion.
Ah well, more reward chests means more fun right? Let's see what I got from them!
I got 2 potions, 71 DEC 3 common cards and 2 rare cards. Not bad, but also not great. I guess I got close to breakeven.
However, I realised that quest potions weren't profitable in the past, but they are now. If you buy them with credits you pay a bit more than 70 cents, but at current prices the average value of a loot chest is 1.225$ and you get an additional 5 of those (!).
The price is based on the splintercards chest tool
Am I completely missing something or are quest potions giving an amazing ROI in todays market?

Yeah they are I have been recording my usage of quest potions for months now and if bought via credits with the current price of DEC major returns increase on average compared to previous months.

.That makes sense... with DEC being the most common reward, and quest potions increasing the amount of DEC, and DEC being more valuable than usual, quest potions could be positive ROI. Why not, I'll probably try it too :-P
strongly agreed!
i got to the same conclusion too
