Saturday Savers Club Week #40

Saturday Savers

From a young age I have been taught to save. My parents got me a piggy bank which so save coins. Every once in a while I went to the bank to deposit it in my account. I received interest and so the amount grew slowly.

In the beginning of July I joined the #Saturdaysavers initiative and set myself some goals to reach by the end of the year. I've placed them in the following post:
https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@friendlymoose/my-saturday-savers-club-goals

Goals

I've set myself three main goals which I want to reach by the end of 2022 and those are:

  • 5500 Hive
  • 750 HBD
  • 22.500 POB

Standings

My last #saturdaysavers blog was three weeks ago. Let's see what has happened since then!
I've managed to increase my Hive with over 100. I'm just over 99%, so just 1% left to reach my goal for the end of the year; Dolphin status!
I've been moving some secondary tokens and BCH income from Noise.Cash (which isn't that much anymore nowadays) to buy Hive.
My HBD is still a bit behind, but I just crossed the 500. The 20% APR with HBD is so nice. Every month you can claim your interest which works compounding.

My next pay-out is in two days and will be $7.50
When I add that to my total I will receive $8.50 next month. Which will be even more since the total amount of HBD will also grow over the month.

My POB goal was already finished last time. I kept collecting POB, but I stopped powering it up.
I had my 1500 POB in a market order which just got hit today. I sold it for $0.02, so that's another $30 which I will convert to HBD as well.

TokenAmountPercentage of goalIncrease %

HBD50467,21,7
POB22513100,10,0

Hive pump

I also had a order of 950 Hive a couple of weeks ago. I had it set to sell @ $0.65.
But since the price was slowly going down over the past weeks I decided to power it up to improve my curation rewards.
I had a bit of bad luck here since yesterday the price of Hive peaked above 0.65 and went back down soon afterwards. It's now back at $0.55. But that could have been a 20% profit.
I thinking of saving up some liquid Hive after I met my 5500 goal so I can make a profit of these pumps in the future.

I'm sharing my photos on Hive, Noise.Cash & APPICS.

May I ask where you exchange BCH to Hive? Do you go through euro or a direct exchange is possible?

You can do this in the Peakd interface. If you have it in liquid it takes 3 days to convert. Without any fees.
Power down costs you 13 weeks in total I thought.

I'm converting 32 Hive to HBD at the moment. You receive 50% directly, the other 50% I'm 3 days.

Thanks, I think I asked a confusing question, though. I was curious about turning BCH into Hive.
