Saturday Savers

From a young age I have been taught to save. My parents got me a piggy bank which so save coins. Every once in a while I went to the bank to deposit it in my account. I received interest and so the amount grew slowly.

In the beginning of July I joined the #Saturdaysavers initiative and set myself some goals to reach by the end of the year. I've placed them in the following post:

Goals

I've set myself three main goals which I want to reach by the end of 2022 and those are:

• 5500 Hive
• 750 HBD
• 22.500 POB

Current Standings

It has been a while since my last Saturday Savers Update post. Almost one-and-a-half month ago I reached the Dolphin status with 5530 Hive. I have been quite busy, so I didn't find the time to go out and shoot some photo's for my photography blogs. The main increase of Hive of this week is coming from curation rewards. If you take that into account a 3,5% is quite good.

I've powered up a bit of POB, but mostly converted it to Hive and then to HBD. That explains the 7.5% increase in HBD.
Because of the recent price drop I'm keeping some Hive in liquid form at the moment. When the price is going back up I will convert it to HBD so I can reach my goal for that token as well (the other two are already completed).
I have over 71 liquid Hive and an open sell order for 850 POB (45 Hive).
Let's hope the Hive price will soon go up again.

PHOTO Tokens

When I was checking my balances on the Hive-Engine I discovered that I received a few new tokens. One of them is the PHOTO token. I had collected thousands of tokens without even knowing. The total value was around $50 a few weeks ago. I discovered that I receive this token by using the #photography tag; one I use frequently. The tokens are automatically staked, so it adds up to your curation rewards for your votes on blogs with the #photography tag. And since I mostly vote on photography related posts the curation rewards for this token are quite nice.

Although the total value has dropped significantly like all other tokens I did manage to grow the amount of PHOTO tokens from almost 10000 to almost 12000 in just a few weeks.
I've decided to keep growing the amount of PHOTO tokens to increase my curation rewards even more.

I might even go for the top 10 of the PHOTO richlist. I do need some more tokens for that, but it's a nice sidegoal.
