Red Devil's day! Today's odds: 4.667

Well, well, well. Guess the bookies have won big times today. Lot's of money probably was wagered on Argentina. Not only pre-game, but imagine the money live betted on them when Saudi Arabia scored the equalizer, maybe even when they got ahead.
This did crash my rags to riches and did kill a pre round 1 parlay. I did expect one more goal after the Saudis scored the 2-1 but no ball did find the net anymore.

I really could use a winner! But I just should stick to the plan and than a winner will come. There is no need to change the method of working, increasing the ante or so on. Loosing streaks are normal, they just aren't nice nor funny!

Red Devils

Today is the day that the World Cup really starts for the Belgian National Team. We will be playing Canada. A stronger opponent than much people would think. A pretty young team with a lot of pace in it, which could hurt the Belgian defense who is getting older and ... euhm ... slower.
Martinez will try to get some speed in the defense, with Debast. Personally I would start with Dedoncker at the back, but that's my opinion.
At the front, more then likely, Batshuayi will be our striker. Another indication that Martinez favor name above form and quality. Here I would have given Openda a chance. Openda did deserve this after his much better 45 minutes against Egypt. We all know that Batshuayi doesn't help a team, but is a killer in the box. The question is how we will get into the box. So, can already write that we are more or less starting with 10.5 players.

But this wasn't enough for Martinez. Eden Hazard had an awful performance against Egypt. He does lack more than match fitness. He also lacks work ethics, acceleration and grinta! But Martinez does think that it is better to start with a player who isn't used anymore with his club as a substitute to gain some time than a player in for from the Premier League, Trossard. Crazy thoughts!

Regardless of this we will stand as a union behind our Red Devils. And yes it would be blast if they would wear their One-Love armband!

Today's Parlay!

As you can see in the title lower odds than the previous days. It is time to get back into the winner's circle and I do hope that this ticket can achieve that.

The Germany game is double important, but this one also does stand on the only surviving pre-round 1 ticket. Still need a win from Germany and Uruguay!

Rags to riches

After 6 wins in a row, I did ran into back-2-back losing bets. The first one was an extra goal in the Argentina game, the other won was a failed predicted win for Denmark!

So we will have to start streak 3. No idea yet, which bet I will be playing for first game.

All bets are placed using this bookie!

Cheers,
Peter

I don't know about Spain's over 2.5 goals. Marroco Croatia can go either way too.
Today I bet on Spain, Germany, and Belgium to win.
Good luck!

I got nicked on that US game. I thought sure they might be able to pull out the win. Dang tie. I should have known. Ties are more common than offsides in soccer!

I do believe that around 30 to 33% of the games do end up in a draw! Depending on the situations the probability does goes up or down.
Here 2 teams of the same strength, both couldn't afford to loose the game, was a massive increase in probability that the game would end in a draw!

I'll have to keep that in mind. Got any good lines for me for the weekend? What does it mean that the US and Wales tied? Do they both have to fight through the B bracket now or did one of them get to advance? I know so little about how the Cup is structured.

Still the group stages. Both do get one point. After 3 games are played, the top 2 of each group do march on to the knockout stage. Number 3 and 4, can go to the airport and fly home.
