Let's see what today have in store for us.

Group C

Before the World Cup did start, I had the idea that Argentina would cruise through this group into the next round, but they still have a long way to go after there surprising defeat against Saudi Arabia. Only a victory could guarantee them a spot in the knockout stages. Poland on the other side only needs a draw and can even qualify with a loss, but than it is dependent on the result of the Saudi Arabia vs Mexico game.
Both Mexico and even Saudi Arabia do need 3 point to move on, even for Mexico a victory doesn't guarantee them a prolonged stay at the World Cup.

It would be the surprise of the World Cup if Argentina doesn't march on into the next round. I do favor them in the game against Poland, so a victory for Argentina is my bet in this game.
The other one is much more difficult to predict. Mexico still has to score their first goal on this World Cup and according to the bookies they will win their first and probably last game today. But besides the 3 points, they do need goals to qualify so probably the over 2.5 goals will suit this game!

Group D

For France it is easy, they already did qualify for the next round. So easy for them. Australia, Denmark and Tunisia all 3 can still qualify. The question is easy, who will it be. The answer is unknown at the moment.
Tunisia does face France, which could rest some players. Also there is a chance that the winner of this group will face Argentina in the next round, which is maybe a team you do want to avoid. Regardless of that, France should win this game easily. We must hope that the ones replacing the rested players are motivated to make the decisions in the next round for the coach harder.
So the game between Denmark and Australia is almost a knockout stage game. Denmark for sure needs a win to qualify, but Australia probably also. If Tunisia could upset France and Australia only draws, the Tunisia will go through based on goal difference!

So, money will be on France and Denmark!
