How are you today? I hope you got good rewards at the end of last season end.

I'm sure you all are aware of this fantastic Splinterlands Winterfest End of Year Promotion where you'll get this badass promo card Arkemis the Bear free with every Chaos Legion pack purchase.

I bought 2 CL packs and got 2 nos of Arkemis the Bear.
The promo will run until Thursday, January 12th, 2023. I plan to take advantage of this promotion and buy enough packs to get enough Arkemis cards to level it up.

Moving forward, another season comes to an end and this means it's time to share the last season's report cards of my two accounts.

In this post, I will share the result from the EOS 13 reward chest collection, the CL packs opening (which I got from those reward chests), and the Gladius packs opening.
So, let's go...

Performance Of The Main Account

With the main account, the highest league I achieved in this season was Gold II - Wild.

My performance on the main account in the last season was not so good. I played lesser battles this season and then again faced several defeats from stronger enemies.

I played in Silver I till the last day and promotes my account to Gold III at end of the season.
My highest rating was 2456-Gold II league with the highest gold rank of 2518.
This means, all my reward chests in the current season will be Gold chests.
I fought 266 battles this season (which are much lesser than season 12) and won 167 of them, maintaining a 1.69 W/L ratio which is poorer than season 12 with the longest winning streak of 18.

Reward Summary Main Account

As you can see, the rewards from those 37 chests were also average. Though 1x epic Djinn Renova was a good pull.
Apart from this, I got 2x rare cards, the Dhampir Infiltrator x1 and, the Naga Assassin x1.
I also go 11x common cards and only 89 merits... meh...
I'm not sure about others, but I hate getting these potions. Still, you can't do about it. Anyway, got 31 Alchemy and 26 Legendary potions along with only 5.028 SPS... Damn...
Desert at the last, I got 1 CL pack out of these 37 chests.

Performance Of The Alt Account

With the alt account, the highest league I achieved in this season was Silver I - Wild. I couldn't have enough power to promote my account to the next higher league.
I tried to rent some GF cards at the last moment, but it was already late and the season got ended already.
This will definitely affect my season rewards.

The alt account performed slightly better in the last season than my main account. I could only play lesser battles with a low win rate this season.

I played in Silver I till the last day and forgot to promote my account to the Gold league at end of the season. This means all the reward chests in this season will be silver chests.

My highest rating was 2515-Silver I league with the highest gold rank of 2527.
This means, all my reward chests in the current season will be Gold chests.
I fought 268 battles this season (which are much lesser than season 12) and won 173 of them, maintaining a 1.82 W/L ratio which is poorer than season 12 with the longest winning streak of 26.

Reward Summary Main Account

Just like the main account, I got x1 epic Ureus and x2 rare cards, Venari Seedsmith x1, and, Venari Crystalsmith x1.
Apart from that, I got x10 common cards and 7.011 SPS.
Next, I got 24 Legendary potions and 24 Alchemy potions, and 1798 merits. That's a good amount of merits.
Last but not the least, I got x1 CL pack.

Chaos Legion Packs Opening

I've accumulated 3 CL packs all total so far from the daily reward chests and EOS reward chests with two accounts. That is 3 CL packs more than season 12. Not good... not good...
Anyway, as I said earlier in this article, I bought 2 CL packs from the Splinterlands marketplace to get 2 Arkemis The Bear promo cards. That's 5 CL packs all total.
Now it's time to open those CL packs...

Woohoo... Got x2 legendary cards Soul Fiend x1 and Void Dragon x1.
Also Got a rare summoner Kelya Frendul x1 and GF Stitch Leech.
Though it could be profitable if I sell those cards in the secondary marketplace as the listed card value is lesser than the total CL packs value. But no one can predict the outcome of a pack and the pack opening alone gives a thrill that is priceless.

Conclusion

I'm slowly building the deck of main cards and gladius cards with the two accounts.
The plan is here to rent out all those cards which rarely use and collect enough DEC to pay the rental cost of the useful cards I rented.
I'm far away from that equilibrium point, but I'm sure I can do this.

Though the rental price is rising insanely with the increasing price of DEC whereas the SPS earnings from daily battle and reward chests are low. Then again, the price of SPS is tanking every day.
Still, getting 1-2 CL packs is what is good in opening EOS chests.

Regarding those potions, I still think the Splinterlands team should make them saleable for the owners in the secondary market or make a way to burn them and get some DEC/SPS so that someone can get rid of those potions for actually useful things like SPS or DEC. Otherwise, they just keep piling in my account as I'm not planning to buy a large pack quantity recently.
