Your favorite quote

"I don't think about the misery, but about the beauty that still remains"

Anne Frank

This phrase represents me, because it is my way of seeing life. I like to focus on the good despite the adversities. Beauty can be found in simple things; in a bird that flies freely in the sky, in the calm with which plants move in the soft breeze, in a firefly in the dark.
If we focus on all the bad things that happen to us we will continue to attract that same thing, it is simply the Law of Attraction. That's why it's essential to change our thoughts.

WE ARE ALIVE! It's the most important thing and even though nothing is certain in this life, we have to live the present full of love, focused on the simple things because in the end those are the most important. We are half way there.

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who lived through World War II with her family, took refuge in the "Secret Annex" and lived in hiding for several years. She began writing the diary she called "Kitty" before her total confinement, and it was her comfort during that time amidst poverty, captivity, and war. Most poignantly, she died two months before the war ended. Her father was the only survivor in the family and who some time later published the book, which became the second best-selling book in the world after the Bible.

For me it is one of my favorite books, I could say that it is in my top 5. It is incredible how such a little girl could find beauty in the secret annex, in the middle of so many misfortunes...

What keeps us from finding beauty in our lives?
