El día de hoy es muy pero muy importante para mí, pues, hoy se cumple mi primer mes junto a Maya, mi pequeña cachorra. Para quienes no recuerdan, Maya fue un regalo de mi mejor amigo, luego de varios meses en busca de un perrito al que adoptar y sin tener resultados, ya que todos los centros de adopción quedan a más de 20min de mi zona de residencia. Entonces, por motivo de celebración haré este pequeño post contándoles un poco como ha sido nuestro primer mes juntas🥰
Today is very, very important for me, because today is my first month with Maya, my little puppy. For those who don't remember, Maya was a gift from my best friend, after several months looking for a puppy to adopt and without results, since all the adoption centers are more than 20min away from my area of residence. So, for celebration I will make this little post telling you a little bit about our first month together🥰.
Bueno, en cuántas generales que nuestro inicio fue más fácil de lo que esperaba, Maya resultó ser una perrita muy dulce, un poco mordelona, pero siempre dispuesta a jugar y sobretodo muy pero muy comelona, la primera vez que la alimentamos fue como encender una aspiradora 🤭 y creanme cuando les digo que quedé muy sorprendida al mismo tiempo que me dió risa ver a un animalito tan pequeño comer tanto, a su vez fue demasiado tierna.
Well, in general, our beginning was easier than I expected, Maya turned out to be a very sweet dog, a bit chewy, but always ready to play and above all very, very, very greedy, the first time we fed her was like turning on a vacuum cleaner 🤭 and believe me when I tell you that I was very surprised and at the same time it made me laugh to see such a small animal eating so much, at the same time she was too tender.
La cosa se torno más difícil con el tiempo, como dirían en mi país "Espérate a qué tenga confianza", eso fue lo que pasó con Maya. Luego de 2 semanas paso de ser una perrita dulce, dormilona y dispuesta a jugar, a ser destructora y en palabras de mi mamá: "Terrible" algo en la que la apoyo. Mi pequeño bebé pasó de ser un ángel a un terremoto en toda la regla. Decidió que correr cuando el piso está mojado era su deporte favorito, que morder paredes o cables hasta romperlos su mejor pasatiempo y que su camita para dormir es su lugar de recolección, dónde por arte de magia puedes encontrar zapatos, tapabocas, mis examenes o cuestionarios, su plato de comida o su envase para el agua, en fin todo lo que pueda encontrar llega directo a ese lugar, eso sí mordido a más no poder.
It gets more difficult with time, as they would say in my country "Wait for her to have confidence", that's what happened with Maya. After 2 weeks she went from being a sweet dog, sleepy and willing to play, to being destructive and in the words of my mom: "Terrible" something in which I support her. My little baby went from being an angel to a full-blown earthquake. She decided that running when the floor is wet was her favorite sport, that biting walls or wires until they break is her best pastime and that her little bed to sleep in is her collection place, where you can magically find shoes, masks, my exams or questionnaires, her food dish or her water container, in short, everything she can find goes straight to that place, bitten to pieces.
Otra cosa, por si no se dieron cuenta, la mayoría de sus fotos son durmiendo, porque es la única forma de encontrarla tranquila. Es mi pequeña bolita de energía🤭 y aunque me está haciendo el trabajo de mamá más difícil de lo que esperaba, no la cambiaría por nada. Amo su forma de recibirme luego de un largo día, sus besitos y como se duerme a mi lado cuando quiere🤷🏽 ¿Que les puedo decir? Soy blandita de corazón.
Another thing, in case you didn't notice, most of her pictures are of her sleeping, because that's the only way to find her calm. She's my little ball of energy🤭 and even though she's making mommy work harder than I expected, I wouldn't trade her for anything. I love the way she greets me after a long day, her little kisses and how she falls asleep next to me whenever she wants🤷🏽 What can I tell you, I'm a softie at heart.
Y bueno creo que ésto fue mi pequeño resumen sobre mi primer mes con Maya, créanme que le da dado un nuevo color a mi vida, y nada como ser amado de forma tan fiel como ella me ama. Eso sí, acepto cualquier truco de adiestramiento que deseen darme (sobretodo si tiene algo que ver con ir al baño), entiéndase mi desesperación al respecto. Si llegaron hasta aquí:

Se ve muy bonita maya, observando las fotos no pareciera que se ponga terrible jeje, pero está bien que se mantenga activa corriendo.
