Listnerds - The Story Continues
It's been more than two months since I wrote a post dedicated to Listnerds, and not as a special mention in my weekly goals post every now and then.
And it's been less than a week since Listnerds recovered relatively quickly after experiencing some issues with their Hive-Engine node. Actually, I'm pretty surprised Listnerds hasn't been affected by such node issues more often in its over five months of new history if I recall correctly.
The Hive-Engine ecosystem seems to experience usually minor issues every once in a while. Sometimes it's their nodes, other times it's the bridges they use or the other side of the bridge, i.e. the respective blockchain nodes. It's a complex system, with many interdependencies.
But I'm not talking about Hive-Engine now.
Listnerds is slowly becoming a household name on Hive. Much like its owners prefer and propose - a slow and steady business model.
While at first, it may have been looked at with some reticence, coming from the online marketing niche Listnerds was born in, it was the Hive users who adopted the new model of Listnerds first, not the already existing marketers on the platform, who preferred to use the old techniques that didn't work anymore.
This was surprising, at first, but then it shows that Hive users adapt more easily and understand where things are going better than many online marketers seem to.
We have seen online marketers cross over to Hive in time as well, so it's not a general rule, more of a case-by-case situation.
So, we're 5 months in. Has the excitement around the platform been going down already? It must have!
Well, maybe older members don't write about Listnerds every other post anymore, lol. That's changed. Or maybe some still do and I haven't noticed it.
But if you keep saying the same thing over and over again, you will lose your audience, who might be interested in hearing about something else too.
What I can tell you is they are still sending their emails on the platform, consistently. Some twice a day, some daily, others rarer. Mostly depending on their upgrade type.
And you can see the excitement of newer members when they post about Listnerds for the first (couple of) times. Some very known people or projects on Hive.
Some took longer than others to be convinced, but once they did, it's a bit like a before and after experience. And it's great to read about it and see them embrace something you've been using since day 1.
There's new blood coming to Listnerds continuously. And that can be observed if you don't look at the emails received within the platform for a couple of days and then, you start wondering: Who is that? I thought I knew everyone active (that might've been the case a while ago, but not anymore).
During the day when Listnerds was having issues with their Hive-Engine node, I probably logged in at least 10 times to see if the situation was resolved. I bet many others did the same, or just checked out their discord. That shows how important Listnerds has become to our daily routine.
If you are on Hive, you should at least try to understand their business model and how to use it. What I truly hope is that Listnerds will become a magnet for people outside Hive as well, toward Hive.
By the way, if you need an incentive... This is thanks to Listnerds:

There was a discussion in one of the communities I'm part of here on hive
Seems the founders or core are also òwners of that tribe. I think they're trying to resolve any pending issues at the moment.
Oh yeah, some missing payments you probably mean. I can wait. Just happy Listnerds is functional again.
Yeah, I read they're working on resolving those issues.
Good post, Adrian. The continued growth is still with Hive people. Most of those in marketing just don't get this new platform and many of them are either afraid of crypto or think it is a scam. It is a shame because ListNerds could really boost their income.
After all this time and exposure, to still think crypto is a scam is more than lack of vision and research, it's shortsightedness. Thanks for dropping by,John!

Great work Gadrian. You made a nice Nerdy power up there!
Yes, I did, didn't I? Happy about it myself! Thanks!
What are your thoughts on LISTNERDS token liquidity?
Is there enough to consistently pay for your subscription costs.
And if so, where does the demand (and thus liquidity) come from?

That's a point of concern to me as well. So far I see Blain started to buy in bulk, pretty much as he does with all the projects he develops. So it's a matter of waiting with a sell order for now. But for the future there needs to be more buying pressure.
On the other side, the more people get involved the more the token is distributed to more hands. And I assume those lower in the ranking would want to hold it or buy it so they can rank up and earn a higher share. That also dilutes the earnings or everyone, in time (I assume). Much like on Hive.

ListNerds is a powerful "system" :) The node issue has been fixed I think, may need to catch up with the rewards on 9-10th June :) Congrats on your power up, a sweet rewards from ListNerds :)
For me, it's great that it's working again. I was having a withdrawal symptom during the downtime, lol. Thanks, I love that powerup coming from Listnerds too.
Yes, it is good it's back to normal again. I guess I will do the same next month, maybe pull out some ListNerds to power up :D
It's always a good option to have - to withdraw and use those liquid funds or to keep adding more and earning more for that.

I came to Hive through Jon Olson. So I came as a marketer. I have to say it changed my whole perspective on how to market things and how social platforms are changing the way things are done. Most safelists and traffic exchanges are way behind. They are still doing what they did 10 years ago. It is old news now so it is refreshing to see lists nerds and Tl21 cash mailer being the first that I know of to try something different.
I think you are right though, most marketing people still don't see the benefit of the blockchain.
Great post.

Thanks for sharing your story! Is Tl21 also on Hive or how does it integrate blockchain?

From what I understand. Rob @ghcamry is very intrigued by the blockchain and wants to adapt more in the future
I wish I had enough time. Work has been keeping me busy so I threw Listnerds to the side as I can barely keep up with my LeoFinance feed. Hopefully, work will slow down soon so I have time to revisit Listnerds. I do remember most of the posts about Listnerds when it first started.

I did notice you slowed down a bit on commenting lately. I thought it was just on my posts, but now it explains it. Good luck going through the increased workload!

With ListNerds comes PowerUps, I love the sound of this combination. And here is me waiting for another 20 hours to try my luck with another mail. I know already that someday soon I'll have to upgrade but I'm in no big rush, I need to take it step by step.
Voted on ListNerds!

OMG OMG 😱😲😱 I can't believe this is real!
First validated email? :) Congrats!
I never expected that LN number to be that high, especially as it's my first one :)
Yep, I didn't notice that! That's unexpectedly high. That's almost as high as I earn, lol. Anyway, congrats! I wish I knew how you did it, lol.
All I know is that I've been cooking some mushrooms yumyum ;))
Ha ha ha, you already ate them! But nice pic.
One more thing, last I remember, I think yesterday, this number was 36 or 38. What would be the reason that it jumped straight to 100? I think LN needs a wiki ;)

This rating is not very relevant, as in most cases it just goes up with every vote you receive, with 100 being the max and easy to reach.
Listnerds is still growing and innovating, thanks to all those doing all the wonderful work keeping the system flowing as effective as possible.
Strange. I thought I answered your comment on LeoMobile.
Yep, the Listnerds team is awesome, and I believe the community is great too because it's tied and dedicated.
That's a huge gift from Listnerds! 😄
Well, I worked for it too. Daily. But yep, Listnerds rocks!

Yeah, both a gift and a result of hard work. 😊😄
We all can thank @blainjones, @jongolson, and @elianaicgomes for the stability of ListNerds. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Yup, they are doing a great job!
