DIFFERENT SOURCES OF FUEL FOR THE FIRE

Not always in a survival situation can you find a suitable fire or fuel for the fire that you will certainly want to light. It will allow you to boil water, roast meat and so on.

What is the good source of fire ?

Dried animal feces

Animal dunk is also a good source of fuel if you cannot find anything to light up fire.They contain a lot of unprocessed woody and grassy tables, which can be a great source of heat and allow you to prepare your dinner.

Animal fats and fats

They can be used if of course they are available. The places where you can mainly find them are polar and more northern regions, where all other resources are scarce. The bones of the animal can be used together with them. Once greased, they can become wonderful torches or part of a fire.

Man-made fuels

Remains of human presence can be found in many areas. It happens that you come across a rotten old car or another machine abandoned by man. Then you can get a lot of things from it, which you can use both for kindling and as the main fuel for the fire. In these remains, look for flammable liquids, such as:

or look for other burning materials such as:

rubber or old abandoned tires;
