How to Start an Online Business

Hey there!

I hope you are doing well where you are. Me, I'm settling into my new digs since I wrote my last post about downsizing. My goal is to get more regular content to you. And hopefully you'll find it useful whether you are working with me as your coach or not.

As you can see from the graphic above, there are 5 types of online business. Blogging and Video are both good avenues, but the question you have to ask yourself is what is your focus going to be. If you try to be too general, you may not really attract the following you seek. So in my opinion, save these till after you have started a business and have a game plan. Preferably, get yourself a coach/mentor who can help you avoid costly mistakes.

So that takes me to affiliate marketing/informational products. Great stuff here indeed. Myself, I recommend something like Genesis Lifestyle Network that offers a huge array of Online Marketing Education that you can utilize yourself and then share with others. Coincidentally enough, those are training segments within GLN's Online University!

Finally, drop shipping. I've never done it but I have seen people do it. You'll have to do some research on it but there is a lot of logistics to it. Buying then posting then reselling then shipping. Hopefully, at the end of the day you turn a profit. But you have to carefully track your cash in and cash out on this. So due diligence is required here.
