CINETalkies : Lets talk about Cinema (10/08/2021)

Exactly a week back we started the engagement project on #cine. The project to come together and discuss the movies. #CINETalkies is now becoming popular name. Many new users are joining the initiative. There are many others who are regularly contributing to this and are winning big fat #pob as well as #cine votes.

Weekly Report

When @interpretation decided to support this project I was very happy as this meant a lot more than just the #pob value of his vote. He publishes the weekly report on the community and its activities. This report means a lot more visibility to the initiative. Yesterday, he published the first report. Along with the details about the #pob community he published the statistics on #cinetalkies. The report is quite interesting and the same can be read here.

Engaging on #cinetalkies

You can write about any movie that you recommend others to watch. Lets start the engagement on CINE.

A CINETalkies post will be created daily, and anyone can participate in the #cinetalkies initiative by simply commenting on this post. Try to interact in the comments with other users. Want to talk about a movie, but still don’t have enough data to post about?

Rewards are discretionary. Spammers are not welcome but if you really want to talk about a movie (whether english or a regional language), web-series, movies, channels, shows then this is the place.

2nd October was the day of highest engagement. Since this is a cross platform initiative it is likely to boost the engagement on various platforms which are tagged in this post.
Lets us boost overall comments and the same would not be in vein. Yesterday we had a very interesting discussion around funding the production of a movie through the #cine tokens. Lets have some more interesting discussion today and increase the engagement to a greater heights.

I am sure this would be a good initiative on the #cine platform just like leomarkettalk is on #leofinance

Yes ! That brings a lot of traffic and interaction on Leofinance and that could totally be the same here and I think Cinema can reach more people than finance !PIZZA

There was the first Venom 2 : Let There be Carnage in France few days ago and the journalists and other guests seemed to have hated it !

I am happy to see the initiative, however the engagement is quite discouraging. Its not at the level where it should be, when the initiative is launched also on #pob and is rewarded in #pob. Your post on 2nd October was an indicator of some activity.

If you notice, I have incentivized almost everyone who commented in that post. That page engagement is worth almost 140 POB, which is quite well rewarded, however in-spite of this kind of generous reward the engagement is still lukewarm.

I think you seriously need to promote the initiative in the other #cine community members. Though certain discussions are meaningful, such engagements should increase only then this will be a meaningful project.

It is inevitable to compare this project with #pobtalk, which scored more than 300 engagements in a week as against 133 on #cinetalkies. There is a need to get more support from @raymondspeaks and other community influencers as well.
