AseanHive: My Wednesdaywalk Escapade
Good day Everyone, especially to all members here in @aseanhive community. Every wednesday I love to walked around and see the beautiful of the place specially the Nature.
My post for this day was all about the my travel escapade to Makawa, Naawan Misamis Oriental, a place where my Grandmother and Grandfather lives.
Balete Tree
The first place I went recently was full of many small balete tree. People don't want to cut the balete trees because for them, it can protect the soil for being eroded by water, specially if there is a flashflood.
The balete tree can sip more water and the roots will goes through under the soil, so it wont easily be washed out. Addend with this, balete tree can give a shade and cool or warm place because of its leaves and wide branches on it.
Madang Fruit
This is a madang fruit, some other people called this marang. The characteristics is just like a jackfruit. This month of September, there are many madang fruits because this month is the season of bearing madang fruits.
Luckily my Grandparents also have this kind of fruit and I am very happy to have this. This is one of my favorite fruits and I loved to eat this kind.
Skippers Cafe and Restaurant
As I went back, I decided to go to one of our restaurant here to buy something, and this is skipper restaurant. This place sell also different kinds of coffee and or any desert that is suitable of the likes and tastes of the costumers.
The place is very spacious, and many chairs and tables are in set in for the costumers who came by. There are also a sing-a-long area for those people who loves to sing and enjoying themselves together with there friends and relatives.
This place have also a swimming pool for those who loves to swim. Many children are being enjoyed swimming here in this place. Well, it is not enough big and wide the swimming pools is but it can bring joy and happiness to all.
This is one of the restaurant here in our place and many people came here just to relax themselves and bonding with thier family, friends and relatives.
This are my wonderful experience in life this Wednesday. And I am very thankful that it ends with a beautiful and exciting moments of my Life.

Marang is my favorite. I also cook the seeds and ate them. It is good many Balete in your area, that is nice for a bonsai project.

I have never seen a madang fruit before, but you're right, the interior looks a lot like a jackfruit. I always love trying new fruits. I hope Skipper is surviving the pandemic, it has been especially hard on restaurants and cafes.
The restaurant is still on business my friend @justinparke 😊 I hope it will still opened even if we are still in Pandemic situations.
