Today, let me share my Wednesday activities here in our place and this are traveling through Nature. I have so much wonderful time traveling around the place. I will explore you to our peaceful, relaxing and beautiful place here in the Province of Misamis Oriental.

The Manticao River

This is our Manticao River and serve as the border of two Barangays. Barangay Poblacion and Barangay Paniangan. Last day this is the place I went. As we can see in the picture, we can see the crystal clear of water, very relaxing and peaceful place. We can truly imagine how beautiful the place it is.

As I continued to take a walk here in this place, I seen many kinds of birds such like Maya birds the fastest and highest flying bird. The river was very clean because people who lived near at the river have a proper discipline regarding of their wastes. They dug a hole and buried their garbages.

A Place With More Stones

The place was filled with more stones, different sizes, shape, colors and varieties. People went in this place to get stones use for constructing houses, establishment and many more. Even I loved to collect different kinds of stones specially if the color is very interesting and fascinating.

Some people used this stones as their primary source of income. They sell the stones and gravel in hardware store. This place was filled with more water during flashflood and everybody stay on alert about the flood happens here.

Varieties of Trees

As I continued to walked, I seen many kinds of trees. One of the trees I found was this big tree and we called it Tugas. This is one of the hardest tree and it is good for furnitures , window jam and door jam. Termites can't broke this kind of tree because of it hardenest.

Next, is the palm plant. We called this plant Bogo. Bogo plant is also good for houses, it can use as floors. Many houses I seen and the floors were made of this Bogo Plant. Those plants stands at the cliff and it helps to avoid soil erosions brought by the water and heavy rains.

Eroded Bamboo trees

Many Great floods have passed and this is the result of the big flood happens. The bamboo trees eroded and the other part of the soil fell in the water. Children loves to swim here in this place and serve as their diving board.

Fish and o shrimps lives in this place and people cast thier nets to catch it.
