I Can Teach Biology Better

Hello friends, welcome to a new week and I wish you the very best of this new week. It's the edition 1 of week 51 of the @hivelearners challenge. I am so pleased to be participating.

Everyone has a preferred subject which they understand readily. Sometimes they don't even need to read their notes to pass. It can be because they have enthusiasm for that particular subject or because they like the teacher (rare cases). Yeah! If you hate a teacher the likelihood of enjoying a subject or understanding is limited. I have been there before and even now 😂. I'm finding it hard comprehending a subject just because I don't like the teacher. He's too rude but I still force myself to attend his classes and study so as to pass. I don't want to have an additional year just because I detest someone who is already done with university.

If i'm to teach any subject i will teach Biology.
Biology has been one of my preferred subjects from primary education. We started studying it when I went into Senior intermediate class 1. It was so simple to comprehend that I did not have to burden my intellect over and over to understand. The only issue with the subject was that there are always lots of notes😂. That period we weren't permitted to use phones in secondary school so there was no way I could capture notes or even transform someone else's note to PDF (softcopy). Since I enjoy the course, I didn't see that as a tension to duplicate the note, my note was always up to date and that was another reason my teacher back then liked me. He would even hand me his note after class to write on the blackboard for my classmates. Biology also comes with lots of sketching of living creatures (plants, animals) The animal here encompasses both species and human beings. I can never forget the characteristics of living creatures which were simplified for us as MR NIGER D. That's how much I love that subject.

For the passion of the subject, I also developed interest in the medical sector. You must have success in the discipline in senior examinations and matriculation to even qualify for a medical school. And certainly I did succeed in all because of my passion for the subject.

Since it's my preferred subject since secondary school, teaching it to my students will be much more simple. I will explain it with enthusiasm and so much comprehension to make sure they comprehend it too.

Another reason I would prefer teaching this subject is because it is something we see and experience everyday. First, when it comes to the portion of the human body, explaining it will not be challenging because everyone experiences the mechanism in the body, be it a child or an adult. Everything happens in the body, the only difference is growth. It is a functional discipline with no much explanation.
When we go out we see creatures and even plants are things that we see everyday so all the teaching to my students won't cost me much.
