My Prefect Trick For Preparing For Exam

Welcome To My Blog

Greetings Friends, welcome to a fresh week and we pray for the best. We all know every week arrives with different versions of the @hivelearners prompt. I'm happy I'm able to participate in week 50, edition 1.

Being a student, examinations and tests are something that's unavoidable because they are there to check the student's ability and whether he or she comprehended what they were taught. I won't deny that I don't really like examinations 😂. Why can't we just be taught and they believe we understand it.

Everyone has a different bodily system and how their brain assimilates so when it comes to preparing for examinations, the technique you use may not work for another individual. What you should know it what works for you better and implement it.

Practicing for tests or examinations can be a difficult but with the right strategies and techniques, it can be much more earlier. Here are some of the best methods I prepare for tests or exams:

Night Reading:
To me, I prefer reading in the early hours of the morning when everywhere is quiet and chilly. I seem to comprehend well. I detest reading close to the exam time. It makes me confused and might even risk forgetting what I read.

Start early:
I don't wait until it's close to an exam or test before reading. It stresses my brain the most and that would even break me down after examinations. I aim to start early so close to examinations it's more like reviewing. Sometimes when I don't comprehend what the lecturer thought I go to YouTube and explore the same subject. It helps me understand better from other people.

Get enough sleep:
Sleep is so essential to the brain that I don't play with it.
When preparing for exams, I sleep early, which will enable me to wake early and even give me more energy to read for a long time, then after reading for about 4-5 hours I may guarantee I relax a little before the anticipated time for the examinations.
If you're feeling dizzy and you keep pushing yourself it's more like you're misleading yourself or wasting your time because you lose both your sleep and still not gain anything, so it's better you sleep and come back to reading when you are much sprightly.

Avoid distraction:
Distractions I mean here are social media and calls. If possible off your phone to offer your book complete concentration. I keep my phone far from me. That is why I prefer hardcover because Ebooks can make me want to check my messages. Some people use quiet music to study too and it assists them. That's not terrible but deafening music can be a disturbance to you.
Take a break after spending hours reading. That can be scrolling, resting or playing games to help you cool off.
Don't neglect that eating is very essential. You need to be healthy psychologically, physically before you can even study.

Ask for help:
When reading theoretical courses you can ask anyone around to ask you possible questions from while you respond. I also make possible exam questions for myself and answer them. If it's a calculation course, I write all the calculations in a different book. It's simpler to organize them when I see questions relating to them.
If you have coursemates around too you can go ask them questions when you are confused or have a group reading with them.

Thank you for reading
Have a blessed week ❤️💜🤲

You can say this again, if someone reads for too long, unless you aim at deceiving yourself, its always best to take break in-between for better assimilation.

They are deceiving themselves instead of to rest their brain, notice me doesn't give good grades, understanding the little you read does.

I can relate with almost everything you wrote here. Studying late at night, putting aside any form of distraction to starting early are my go-to study methods. And they never fail.
