My little ones welcome to a new post, this time I share with you my participation for the logos of the tokens LARYNX, SPK, and BROCA. This time it was a little more complicated to specify the designs because I was not clear what the tokens were about, so I did what I could with the little information I had.

About the tokens the general idea I had was that it was about speech, so I thought about the waves that you see in the audio and that was my first mental image to make the logos. I also relied a lot on Pinterest images related to cryptocurrencies, here I show you the images that guided me and inspired me.

I realized that the hexagon is used a lot in the crypto world and also the use of the initials of the word, as well as very simple but recognizable shapes. So with this visual information, I decided to use the letters and a shape that spoke to me of sound waves but was very stylized and simple.

As always in my creative process, I did the pencil sketches, everything I could think of.

Mis pequeños bienvenidos a un nuevo post, en esta oportunidad les comparto mi participación para los logos de los tokens LARYNX, SPK Y BROCA. En esta ocasión fue un poco más complicado concretar los diseños porque no tenía claro de que iban los tokens, así que hice lo que pude con la poca información me tenía.

Sobre los tokens la idea general que tenia era que se trata del habla, así que pensé en las ondas que se ven en los audio y fue mi primer imagen mental para hacer los logos. También me apoye mucho de imágenes en Pinterest relacionadas a criptomonedas, aquí les muestro las imágenes que me guiaron e inspiraron.

Me di cuenta de que se usa mucho el hexágono en el mundo cripto y también el uso de las iniciales de la palabra, así como formas muy simples pero reconocibles. Así que con esta información visual decidí usar las letras y una forma que me hablara de las ondas del sonido pero muy estilizado y simple.

Como siempre en mi proceso creativo, hice los bocetos a lápiz, todo lo que se me ocurrieron.

Then I chose the ones I liked the most and digitized them. To define them I worked with procreate on the iPad.

Después elegí los que más me habían agradado y los digitalicé. Para definirlos trabaje con procreate en el iPad.

When I finished I decided to vectorize in Affinity Designer on the iPad. This step is one of the ones I like the most because it is like molding with plasticine, the vectors help us to make the image not so heavy and not lose the quality once we scale it, that is to say, that we make it big or small.

Al terminar me dispuse a vectorizar en Affinity Designer en el iPad. Este paso es de los que más me gusta porque es como moldear con plastilina, los vectores nos ayudan a que la imagen no pese tanto y que no pierda la calidad una vez que lo escalemos, o sea que lo hagamos grande o pequeño.

Now let's move on to the logos for each token.

Ahora sí, pasemos a los logos para cada token.

LARYNX

For this logo I decided to work with the L and the X and merge them into one image. My results were as follows. As an ornament I decided to add a half circle that helps to see it as a coin.

Para este logo decidí trabajar con la L y la X y fusionarlas en una imagen. Mis resultados fueron los siguientes. Cómo adorno decidí agregar un semi círculo que ayuda a verlo como moneda.

SPK

For the SPK coin I considered whether or not to use the letters in different arrangements. At first I was very tired with the cube or hexagon idea. Now I realized that this idea has already been done, but I still share it with you.

Then I changed my mind and decided to also work, these three letters in an aesthetic way and of course, that each one could be understood.

Since I had thought about sound waves before, I decided to use these diamond shapes to simulate speech. I feel it looks good with them, but the logo is too big, so I prefer the version without the waves.

Although I know the token is not called Speak, I just wanted to put the word below to see how it looked.

SPK

Para la moneda de SPK consideré si o si usar las letras en diferentes acomodos. Al principio estaba muy cansada con la idea de cubo o hexágono. Ahora me di cuenta de que este idea ya la han hecho, pero aun así se las comparto.

Después cambie de idea y decidí también funcionar, estás tres letras de forma estética y claro, que se entendieran cada una.

Ya que antes había pensado en las ondas del sonido, decidí usar estas formas de diamante para poder simular el habla. Siento que se ve bien con ellas, pero el logo queda muy grande, así que prefiero la versión sin las ondas.

Aunque sé que el Token no se llama Speak, solo quise poner la palabra abajo para ver qué tal lucia.

BROCA

For the Broca coin I decided to take the B and C which are the initial and the loudest sounding letter in the word and that they will form the image, I liked the idea of the "C speaking" so I took the previous sound shapes and placed them in such a way that it looks like they come out of the C. I also played with the half circle to give it more volume, although I still like it without it.

BROCA

Para la moneda Broca decidí tomar la B y C que son la inicial y la letra que suena más fuerte en la palabra y que ellas formarán la imagen, me gustó la idea de la "C hablando" así que tome las formas de sonido anteriores y las coloque de tal forma que pareciera que salen de la C. También jugué con el semi círculo para darle más volumen, aunque igual me gusta sin él.
