Will Little Chrissy Make It Here On The Homestead?

A new animal has come to the Gubba homestead. She had a rather traumatic experience at her previous home when all of her brothers and sisters were killed by a dog and only she survived. I decided to adopt her and see if she would fit in here on the Gubba Homestead.

The farm she was at said she wouldn’t ever go outside and just stayed sheltered in the coup. They suggested bringing her here to see if she would fit in with the other chickens I currently have and help improve her quality of life by being around others like her.

Currently I’ve been having to watch her a bit to make sure she has access to food and water as the other chickens haven’t taken to her yet because she’s a new addition to the flock. I understand there's only so much I can do and the rest is up to her and the other chickens. I’m unsure what type of chicken she is. My white chickens are leghorns and the others have all come from other farms.

It’s been a bit of a struggle. However since this video she’s starting to go outside more often, walk near the other chickens without them picking on her and overall just seems happier now. I know she's going to make it and find her home here <3
