Changing My witness Vote to promote the suggestion of 20% APR for HBD Savings...

Hey All,

There has been suggestions all around of increasing the APR for HBD in savings from 12% to 20%. As of writing this post the interest has moved to 15% but I feel that 20% should be good and at the same time would interest more people into investing in HIVE. Not only that we also get the free marketing with this news of HBD getting 20% APR, which in turn should be more compelling as compared to interest given for any other stable coin.

Since this parameter is adjustable by witnesses and doesn't require any kind of hardfork. I feel we should try it out and see the consequences, which at the moment we don't see any downside but rather would bring good things for the HIVE blockchain in general. In order to support this move of pushing the HBD saving interest to 20%. I decided to relook at the witnesses that I have been supporting and reshuffle my votes for the ones who are ready to take this challenge up and are of the opinion to support this decision.

At times we need to take these bold moves and without taking any risk there aren't any profits. Also, I feel that this move of of having/proposing 20% APR for HBD Savings is a calculated risk that should be supported. I'm doing my part to bring this change by voting for witnesses who are ready and have changed the parameters to 20% APR for HBD savings.

This is the beauty of the governance model on a blockchain that gives everyone the right to vote and support that they think is right. I've a small stake but I think every vote counts. If you feel that this is the right move forward then lets support this idea and lets see what awaits for HIVE & HBD in near future...
