How to claim EVMOS from Keplr wallet? Simple Three Steps to follow...

Hey All,

Luckily, I was eligible for the EVMOS (formerly called Ethermint) my keplr wallet had 223 EVMOS to be claimed. Announcement from EVMOS team on Claiming your Evmos Rektdrop can be found here. In the guide you can find all the details about the Eligibility and How to Claim Evmos Rektdrop Airdrop tokens.

Lets now look at the simple steps to claim EVMOS tokens via the kepler wallet::

How to claim EVMOS from Keplr wallet?

Step 1 Connect your kepler wallet with app.evmos

Once you are connected and if you are eligible for the EVMOS airdrop you will notice tokens claimable and an import button enabled to claim the tokens.

Step 2 Click Import Button & Confirm The Transaction

You will see a screen pop up which would look similar to this one here::

Stating the number to EVMOS tokens to be imported and then you need to select metamask wallet where you wanted to have your EVMOS tokens imported/transferred for claiming them.

A quick note here, you should be having some OSMO tokens to pay for the gas. Or else you can wait a bit longer and try out the Low gas which is $0 for the transfer to happen.

Step 3 Import Success notification & checking your Metamask Wallet for EVMOS tokens

This is the final step towards claiming EVMOS from Keplr wallet. If everything goes well planned you will notice import transfer is successful as indicated in above picture. Once this is confirmed, connect to app.evmos this time using your metamask wallet and see the balance of the EVMOS tokens. Here is the snapshot of my EVMOS wallet on metamask

I already had some EVMOS tokens and with this import/claiming of another 223 EVMOS tokens the total now becomes 261 EVMOS tokens. At current price of EVMOS which is around $1.43+

the total free money that I got from the EVMOS is close to $370+ not that bad overall. who doesn't like Free money. In case you provide LP on the Osmosis blockchain? Or paid heft ETH gases? just check if you have got the EVMOS tokens airdrop and enjoy the free money...

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation.
