Hi Dear - SplinterMates,

For this week's Battle Share Contest Organised by the SplinterLands Team; details can be found @ Weekly Splinterlands Battle Share:: For this week challenge, we have DRAGON SUMMONER to be explored. I have a lot of DRAGON SUMMONERs and that too at the Max level but I'll be talking about two of them in this blog post. I strongly feel that Winning or losing battles does not matter. What matters most is how a player is building upon his/her game strategy.

In this post, we will explore LIVE; these Summoners SELENIA SKY && DARIA DRAGONSCALE; will share my strategy around it and how I'm using this card i.e. its placing position on the battlefield and how often I use the card, and at what level it should work the best for you. At the end of the post, we will also be doing a Cost-Benefit Analysis of these Summoner Cards SELENIA SKY && DARIA DRAGONSCALE Summoners

The high-level pointers that we are going to discuss are as follows::-

A Final Note to keep things simple; talking a bit around the cost-benefit analysis for these cards. Simplicity is the one that is admired by most people & I'm one of them that likes to keep things clean, simple, and straightforward.

How Often I use SELENIA SKY && DARIA DRAGONSCALE Summoners

Have a look at my collection for the Daragon Summoners; don't get surprised by the cards that I have for DELWYN DRAGONSCALE. I got most of them at the time of the Promotion and have kept them with me ever since. Currently; it's at level 7 but I'm thinking around to Max it or not. But for now, keeping it as is i.e. at level 7. One DELWYN DRAGONSCALE is close to $0.44 and it about to cross half a cent in near future.

Before; I get further into the discussion, let me answer some of the questions that @carrieallen had pointed out.

Who is your favorite Dragon Summoner?

To be honest and if I were to chose only 1 of the best Dragon Summoner then it's none other than SELENIA SKY The best part about this SUmmoner is that it adds +1 Range attack to your Ranged attack monsters.

And the beauty is the I have a couple of legendary ranged attack monsters that become super strong along with SELENIA SKY. One of them being; "SPIRIT OF THE FOREST" its range attack power becomes 3 when I choose SELENIA SKY as my summoner.

Do you always use them with the same Splinter?

Not precisely. I shuffle it along with other splinters. And when it's a Low Mana Cap rule battle; I land up taking EARTH ELEMENTAL most of the time.

As a result; it makes EARTH ELEMENTAL range attack as 4 along with SELENIA SKY as my summoner.

Do some Dragon Summoners do better with specific Splinters?

Yes of course some Dragon Summoners do quite well with specific Splinters. Let's take the example of GOLD DRAGON Splinter chosen along with DELWYN DRAGONSCALE Summoner.

It adds extra magic to my GOLD DRAGON monster and from a magic attack of 4 it gets an extra magic attack which makes it to 5 when I have DELWYN DRAGONSCALE as my Summoner. Hence it's definitely an added advantage if you choose the right Summoner and the Specific Splinters to enhance their powers further.

Why choose Dragon in the first place?

Good question..dear..Most of the time use it to Flaunt..lol Joke apart the primary reason for using it that most of the Splinters out there doing the heavyweight damage are Dragon Splinters and hence you will need to select Daragon Summoners to choose your Dragon Splinters.

Do you have a favorite Legendary monster that wreaks havoc and always brings you the win?

Yes; I have a couple of Legendary monsters that wreak havoc but not necessarily bring me a WN. At times a wrong decision i.e. placement of your monster cards can cost you the battle.

Take the example of "LIGHTNING DRAGON"; it's a very good card. But if you messed up with a position it should be placed then definitely it can cost you a battle to lose; else if things are done correctly it does bring victory and most of the time.

Cost-Benefit Analysis SELENIA SKY && DARIA DRAGONSCALE Summoners

Maxing DARIA DRAGONSCALE requires you to shed close to $33+ and you will need to combine 46 cards of it. I was lucky to grab them at a point when the price was on the lower side.

You don't need to directly jump into Maxing DARIA DRAGONSCALE. I would recommend first try this summoner card at a lower level i.e. at level 3 which should require 6 of these cards to be combined and will cost you around $1.29+. So try this card at level 3 to start with and if you like it build your card from thereon.

Maxing SELENIA SKY requires you to shed close to $74+ and you will need to combine 11 cards of it. I was lucky to grab them at a point when the price was on the lower side.

You don't need to directly jump into Maxing SELENIA SKY. I would recommend first try this summoner card at a lower level i.e. at level 2 which should require 3 of these cards to be combined and will cost you around $30+. So try this card at level 3 to start with and if you like it build your card from thereon.
