The second form of a Dark Eternal is determined by the state of the soul. Some of the more twisted souls take insect form, and the Haunted Spider is the favorite. The projectile venom and massive, armored thorax make the Haunted Spider a formidable (and intimidating) enemy in any battle.

Unfortunately I don't played with Death Splinter so I decide to share another battle with CERBERUS
Here is stats of the card..

Card cost 4 mana and at level 1 it has the Self Heal and at level 5 unlocked a another ability - Retaliate

Battle Details

I am sharing a Battle from one Brawl I played recently. The battle is with level 1 Rare Summoner.
Rule Set - Explosive Weakens & Melee Mayhem

My strategy - As one of the rule is Melee Mayhem so I decide to use all the melee monster. Places the COCATRICE at first place as it has flying ability and with speed 3 has good chance that opponent will miss the attacks (as its Melee Mayhem so miss attack a very important role). The FINEAS RAGE is a good card with reach and high speed (so if Cocatrice fails the Fineas will take the change, with high speed it will also have good chance that opponent will miss). The third place is for CERBERUS, moderate speed and self healing. I am using one gladius card also - ORELLA ABADON. I was exploring the Bloodlust ability. ANT MINERS on second last place, the card has Scavenge ability which will give one health when any card died. ENCHANTED DEFENDER at last place. I placed the card by mistake. Actually the card has the THORNS at level 5. I am using the card in ranked battles also. But at level one it does not has any special ability.

Did my Strategy works...Yes some part goes well but some does not. The opponent used the MYLOR CROWLING which provide the THORNS to all monster. At first place I thought I lost the game and even skipped it. But I was surprised to see that I actually win. I checked the battle again.
I used the Cocatrice so get the advantage of fly ability but then the Cocatrice attacked it get killed by the thorns. The first round After 35 steps the first round completed.
At the end of round one I was left with two cards and opponents was left with four cards. At this moment I was curies to see the second round (who I win?).

At the starting of round two Fineas and Cerberus took the change and finished two more cards.

At the end the Cerberus left with one life and I won the battle.
