My Introduction Post To LeoFinance Community

This is my introduction post to LeoFinance community. I'm thrilled to be joining this vibrant and knowledgeable community. I am on blockchain from last four and I have witnessed the evolution from the early days of Steem to the birth of Hive. I joined before the histile attempt that leads to the seperation of Hive a separate blockchain through a hard fork.

Durign the snapshot the users holding the Steem account get the Hives to the equal amount of Steem token then were holding. Apologies for the slight diversion from the main topic of this introduction post to the LeoFinance community.

I'm delighted to introduce myself as a full-time mechanical designer and a curious individual from India. After completing my engineering degree in the Mechanical stream, I embarked on a professional journey as a mechanical engineer, specializing in designing innovative solutions.

How I come across Cryptocurrency

It's fascinating how I come across new things that shape our lives. My journey into the world of cryptocurrencies is indeed interesting. I use to watch videos on YouTube when ever I get free time (not a case any more). One day I come across a video which talks about the Bitcoin and the faucets. I signup with the link provided and start claiming the Satoshi and DOGE form two faucets. Those were the first crypto I come across. Discovering Bitcoin and faucets through a YouTube video was a fortuitous moment that sparked my curiosity. Claiming Stoshis and Doge from those faucets introduced me to the world of crypto. After few days I come to know about the blockchain base social media platforms and I joined Steemit. Form that I started my crypto journey.

As I told I joined the blockchain four year back and I am active form day first and try to post every day. My main interest were nature, photography and general posts. It's wonderful how communities and tribes formed, bringing like-minded individuals together to share knowledge and experiences. I am knowing some other users joined at same time when I joined and they also come to know about the blockchain based social media from same video . We all were interacting with each other through telegram and share the knowledge we gathered about the blockchain. While I may not consider myself a finance person, my curiosity about finance-related topics led me to discover the LeoFinance tag. I always found inspiration in the posts shared by users like @alokkumar121, who has remained active on the blockchain and continues to be a source of inspiration for me. Most of the users joined along with us left and some of them are still active and @alokkumar121 is one of them.

Hive Journey Till Now and Future Plan for LeoFinance Community

It was the time of communities and they played a vital role in my journey, allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals and curate content based on my interests. I must say that communities are one of the best improvements which make the new as well as old users conformable and they choose the contents from their interest. I joined some of them as per my interest and play2earn was one section I like the most and particularly games like Splinterlands, captured my attention. Afterwards I come to know some more games like risingstar and dcrop etc. Slowly and gradually I start building my collection on Splinterlands and their was a time when the collection worth more then 40k usd. .

I come to know about the LeoFinance during the transition period from Steem to Hive and found it to be a valuable resource for learning about finance related topics. I gradually began exploring the platform. Over the time I lern many things form the platform and start posting finance related posts also.

The continuous improvement of platform is one thing I like the most. Team is very active and listen to the suggestion and feedback form the users.

The new UI and the threads caught my attention again. I love the idea of short form content on blockchain. Additionally, the implementation of the lite login option proved to be effective in attracting new users from other platforms. I believe that the gamification version of LeoFinance and the introduction of threads will be game-changers in the future,

I set target for myself to stake 5k $LEO by the end of current year. But I am glad to share that the target is already achieved, a big thanks to the Adoption Campaign and the @onealfa.leo for the 10x contest on threads. Before the campaign stared my LEO stake was aproximately 1000, during the campaign I was targeting for the Neborn Cub pride rank and power up aproximately 500 LEO tokens. I am glad to share that I ama CUB in LeoFinance ecosystem with more then 8k LEO power. I am half way for the Lion pride rank and need to stake more then 15k LEO token.

After the new curation update, the staking LEO has more usecase in Leofinance ecosystem. The more the LEO token you stake more will be chance to get support by curation team for the quality contenet published.
My plans also include to be more active with short form content on threads and publish minimum two quality long form content per week for LeoFinance Community.

Final Thoughts

I love to post and engaged on platform and the introduction of threads has added an extra layer of interest and enjoyment to my experience. I am not a finance guy so I don't post everyday on LeoFinance but the threads are not just for finance related topics, users can talk about everything and anything. The audience needs the replacement of Twitter and this is the perfect replacement with the power of blockchain.

I look forward to witnessing the growth and evolution of the platform, eager to see new additions that will further enhance the user experience.
