Nigerian Police is in great danger with gunmen

Police Force is a civil force that granted the legal authority for law enforcement and maintaining public order. But in Nigeria, the reverse is the case. Police officers and the police station are under constant attack by Gunmen, Bandits, Boko Haram and Terrorists. Even the Police officers are running for the safety. Nigeria Police Force seems to deviate from it's original duty like that of other countries.

Recently series of serious attack has been and still going on Nigerian Police Force, it's officers and Stations in the parts and states of the country are under constant attack of the terrorists in the country.

Just as at today Saturday 19th March 2022, Gunmen Bomb Imo Police Station and Killed two Cops. The two policemen were killed by armed men early morning of today and set ablaze the Umuguma Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria.

This happened a few days after which two warders, members of a Joint Security Task Force were killed by gunmen who attacked patrol vehicle in Okigwe. The gunmen launched the attack on the station by throwing Improvised electronic devices into the buildings, set the station on fire, and also waited to kill any officers who ran out for safety.

If this happens to police stations, what's the fate of a common man and the general public in the country. If the deadly attacks on the Nigerian police continues, it will complicate the already deteriorating security situation in the country.
