Coconut Goodness - Coconut Chutney Recipe

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
Everyone love Chutneys. They go with a lot of dishes. A Chutney can add a lot of flavor to your dining table.
Do you know that coconut can also be used to prepare chutney? Coconut have below benefits:
- It's very nutritious - Coconut have a lot of protein, important minerals, and small amounts of vitamin-B complex.
- Can help your heart - Coconut can help lower heart problems.
- May help in controlling blood sugar - Coconut can help in controlling diabetes.
- Source of antioxidants - Coconut contain phenolic compounds, which essentially are antioxidants.
Here i am sharing a recipe of Coconut Chutney. So lets get started :
Ingredients :
- Desiccated/Fresh Coconut
- Pre-soaked Chana Dal (for 1 hour)
- Ginger
- Salt
- Sugar
- Coriander
- Green Chilly
- Curry leaves
Lets start the preparation:
Please soak the desiccated coconut in water for 30 mins.
After 30 mins, mix and grind all the ingredients.
Now Let's make the Tempering. For this, Heat some oil in a pan , add dried chilies, curry leaves and mustard seeds.
Add this to coconut Chutney and mix well.
Server it with your favorite dish 😀
