My experience as a lion on the leo ecosystem has been great, it Has afforded me the ability to learn more about finance blogging, critical cryptocurrency terms, investments and so on. When I first joined hive early this year, I knew about leofinance community but didnt even know where to begin, by then it was kind of plain and no emphasis of ensuring that one posted through the leofinance front end. My first financial blog as I can remember was a contest proposed by @leogrowth where we estimated the worth of things in our country with the cost of hbd. This was an eye opener.

Growth is constant and this is evident in the recent developments that has come up in the leoverse from the social aspects to the community aspects.

When I first came in, most of what I knew about the system was that you can blog and earn in leo tokens and even through curation. Also, the method of blogging was passing through the leofinance.io website to get things done. Also, the site that give regular statistics of Hive users activities on the block chain, that is the hive stats

The list could be endless because a lot of improvements have occurred from the time I became as active in the Leofinance community.

LEO MOBILE APP
This development came as a gamechanger to leo ecosystem some months back. It was a virtual space that encompassed the features needed to ensure that users has a smooth interface to work with. Features like wallets, price feeds, portfolio news were all in one space. One could blog, comment and engage through the app from any device. It also had better performance, and nice themes, I believe it made engagement easier for smartphone users as it was easier to use an app than websites.
Thus,users could access web 3 using web 2 .

LEO POWER UP DAY
One other major development is the LPUD( leo power up day) which takes place on the 15th of every month and ever since it started, there has been one price or the other to win or something to benefit from. This event started like 3 to 4months ago and the participation has been amazing. When it start you had 5o power up 200leo but now due to consideration from the leofinance team it has been reduced to 150leo to enable everyone partake. Lucky selected people get to win a delegation price for participating.

THE ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE
Did you remember the engagement challenge by @khaleelkazi that got every actively engaged in the leo ecosystem. This happened some months back, with great promising rewards for lions who would beat his record of engagement on the leoverse. A grand price of 100leo was involved and this boosted the traffic in leofinance at that time, people really participated, even I did.

CONTEST! CONTEST!! CONTEST!!!
One aspect of leofinance that made me active is the area of contest. Several contests were conducted by various groups and personal bodies to ensure that one boosted their knowledge in finance and are well vast. Some bodies like leogrowth hold contest to reward participants, some hold contest to boost link building and optimization, some test our knowledge about leofinance projects just like @hodlcommunity is doing currently. This is one major development that has dragged in more members.

LEOTHREADS
the emergence of crypto Twitter on Leo ecosystem which happened recently is major development to foster Web3 activities on here. Before now, contents were penalized for microblogging but with the coming of #leothreads, microblogging is legal and covers all areas from finances, investments, crypto, hive and so on. Then there was no physical activities like this but I think the #leofinance team had it in mind, the kick off has been massive though.

UPDATES IN LEOGLOSSARY TERMS
Every now and then we get to see updates in the leoglossary sections that which is the database of compiled crypto terms and their definitions. It has greatly expanded to accommodate more terms relating to leofinance, splinterlands and general financial matters.

One could go on and on with the many improvements that has taken place in the leo ecosystem this year. We have the leogrowth who as a marketing team has contributed greatly in the growth of the leoverse. I appreciate them specially. We also have improvements in other areas like the leodex who as an internal market is a decentralized exchange for hive based tokens. We have the cub finance which allows the leofinance community to access defi based smart contracts. The polycub on which Defi users earn in the polygon network and many more. Cub finance is a farming platform built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) that is part of the Leofinance umbrella of cryptocurrency and Web 3.0 applications. There are even community pages that gives updates on different leoverse projects.
Finally, the leoverse is a broad space that anyon3 can fit into, moreover it is never static but greatly evolving thanks to the #leofinance team.

SUGGESTIONS
Being active on other communities, they have gaming activities to enable their users engage with one another like puzzle solving in proofofbrain, neoxian puzzler question and so on. People earn from these activities from just having fun. Maybe something like that could be implemented in the Leofinance community. Something to drag us away from the seriousness of financial and crypto matters a bit😁
