I am in Europe, but totally not sure IF I would be able to make it. Life here has only gotten more and more expensive. The finances have remained the same if I don't count my crypto. And I try to save from that crypto, because otherwise it won't work at all. There are still plenty of things in real life that are absolutely necessary, and cost a lot of money. But on the other hand, after more than 20 years, I also have the feeling that I have deserved a trip.

You do deserve a trip, and it doesn't have to be crazy expensive either.
Share an airbnb with someone, or a room, and fly budget.
