While @smooms' dogs seem to sense the importance of today and escalate slightly, he has given in to a bribe and professionally introduces this month's MVP. @smooms words are an accolade for him. Who is it, you want to know? Then read for yourself.

This time @kvinna actually has a real column. There is at least one Easteregg hidden in it and a big secret about a great programmer-to-be. You might find all that if you read everything carefully. Apart from that, there are lots of jokes about the HiQ team.

A very special treat is the great interview with @psyberx. None other than @balte himself conducted this interview with JBOSS for us. Although he was overtired and had no time, he became a raving reporter for HiQ. Yes, you understand correctly: raving, not because he was on drugs, but because we didn't have anything in the sack any faster before.

While @mary-me struggles with her internet connection and can barely communicate with us, she diligently proofreads, formats and translates. She is lovingly encouraged by @smooms not to show any weakness because internet providers can smell important days. He also writes an interesting article about HAS and dApps - not to be confused with dMails.

Our debutant @themyscira appears with her first article in HiQ. It's your chance to pay tribute to her. She has unearthed some treasures in an interesting community. You can also expect puns that every Hivian is sure to enjoy.

@mary-me and @quekery, together with @thatgermandude, are trying to solve a mysterious riddle on the side, i.e. in multitasking mode. @quekery publishes at very short notice in the style of "24:Jack Bauer" a conversation that took place in the HiQ Tower in the last 96 hours. A game, a mystery? - Mystery by all means! If you want to know more about the controversial (BEE) queen who appeared on the Hive Engine out of nowhere, armed with her entourage and her stinger, this article is a must-read. Trigger warning: Only for strong nerves and a good diaphragm.

And now she's knitting too! Look forward to the article from perhaps the world's only female editor who will write a column about socks, bots and programming this time.

And now she knits too! - Well, actually I've been knitting for a long time, I've liked it since I was a child, even though for a long time I was only able to make scarves and knit right and left stitches.

There were times when, in my perception, knitting was so out of fashion that you either didn't do it, and if you did, you were better off keeping it to yourself so as not to be ridiculed as a knitting dolly.

So when I was a teenager, I knitted in secret. But why actually? Those who scoff at the skills of others are welcome to do so, while I am still fascinated by what can become of a simple thread and then appear beneath the knitting needles.

A while ago I had the idea to knit the Hive logo, this came to me during or after a meeting. My first attempt was a loop scarf and then came the wool socks with Hive logo.

I was able to present them at @NeedleWorkMonday! Many thanks to you for this great community and all the lovely people there who show their work and inspire others with it. You can find the process of making the stylish HiQ sock on @NeedleWorkMonday.

Now I still have many ideas and have already designed a few things, but at the end of January it occurred to me that the stylish HiQ could perhaps urgently use woollen socks, ones for real hivehypestylers. It was clear that my blog and other projects would have to wait.

For me, the Lady Edition was the first to emerge. This also has practical reasons: Smaller size means less effort and with the colour of the HiQ logo I perceive a pink note, more in the direction of fuchsia. (I really did hear different statements from the core team when I first asked about this).

The colour immediately conjures up images of bows, ruffles and more pink. I also have a hard time assuming that @mary-me has much smaller feet than the boys @quekery and @smooms, which might be the main reason why they won't compete with her for the model.

Whereas @quekery may not be thinking about socks or anything that doesn't have to do with programming, because he is currently creating a bot and is completely immersed in Python. The word he probably speaks most often at the moment is JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).

The other day @mary-me said in a joyful voice: "This is our child now". I asked who was pregnant with it and she replied: "@quekery". @smooms could be the midwife in my opinion, I thought to myself.

However, @quekery is not only programming a bot, but has also written tools with which you can quickly and easily elicit data from blocks. A noteworthy and helpful thing for the blockchain, I would say.

But his diligence has a price, he is also missed, because at the moment his attention is mainly focused on the many scripts, characters and words he needs to merge with Python. Possibly he will become a great programmer yet. In any case, the result will be "Shiny".

But now back to the socks. I can only hope that @mary-me likes the design and that her procrastination-preventing cat won't hang around her ankle to chase the ribbons and little bells. By the way, I put the bells on just for the cat. Maybe they will also be useful to know in which wing of her château @mary-me is at the moment.

While working, I found out that she is more of a sporty type and spontaneously decided on two ladies' models: the playful one and the sporty one. So don't worry, you can cut off the ruffle without damaging the sock and the satin ribbon is removable. Thanks to the black rally stripes, you then have the version for the sporty lady.

As a responsible editor, I will probably also have to bring out the Gentleman's Edition. Because men in particular should no longer get cold feet before publications. Of course, the Q will then come even closer to the H.

But the pink hue will not be entirely avoidable, gentlemen. Who am I to take the liberty of changing the colour of the HiQ logo? You'll have to complain to the person who designed the logo.

Before the big HiQ colour conspiracy gets started: The shade of red in the HiQ logo is supposed to be the same as that in the Hive logo, even though it looks different for whatever reason. In the picture with the sock, it's a matter of lighting. In any case, I think that the pinkish shimmer makes the HiQ logo something special. ★

In this interview between giants, we feature not only the @psyberx dude JBOSS, but also our whale intern, who is here interviewing a whale of his choice.

HiQ: Hi, dear JBOSS, we are very glad to have you here. PSYBER X is THE real hot stuff for a while now. Could you please explain to the hiq-readers why you started this project and may you tell us something about the team behind it?

JBOSS: Yes, absolutely! I’d love to be involved with this. We started building this project as most of us on the team have been playing games for many years. With the emergence of blockchain based games, and play to earn games… we noticed the lack of the “fun” aspect that most widely known games have. We want to change that. Bringing a truly fun game on the blockchain that you can not only earn from, but also earn! We think this is a huge turning point in what we call blockchain gaming. We’ve been creating games/applications for clients for a few years together under my business. PSYBER X was originally supposed to be a passion project, and worked on in the background when we have time. Since we’ve been funded our work on PSYBER X has tripled and we’re able to now focus on it more than we ever thought would be possible.

HiQ: Great, we see, there is real enterpreneurship and a lot of knowledge, a turning point and also some idealism of experienced gamers in this project, with some special californian style. Hot stuff. So, PSYBER X will be a real ego-shooter game, blockchain based, the first one I think. You created an ecosystem behind, why you choosed the hive-blockchain and a hive-engine token and what is the LVL-token?

JBOSS: We chose the Hive blockchain for a few reasons. The main one was the instant, and fee free transfers done on the blockchain. As many know ETH, and other blockchains have enormous charges for transferring even the smallest amount of tokens. The second reason? Similar to many others… we played Splinterlands early on! It caught our interest, and now here we are. The LVL token is the absolute backbone of what we are creating with PSYBER X, and the metaverse around it. It will be your play to earn token, the way you purchase NFTs in the future, and many other planned expansions.

HiQ: So, LVL-token is the tokenomic-backbone, you as the CEO/Founder of Royal Reptile Studios and your Team are the human brain, the heart and soul will be the players and community of course. If someone is interested in your real fascinating project, where can he read a detailed whitepaper? And is there still an active community around the PSYBER X-universe ?

JBOSS: We just posted our White Paper on PeakD for the Hive community to view. Here is the link, an other new link and also this one. We have a very active community surrounding our project, and growing every day. Currently the most active place is on our discord server, it’s also the best place to get the most current information.

HiQ: The News flow is very high, great. As you said, PSYBER X can be a huge turning point in blockchain gaming, a lot more work to do for you. What do you think, how many gamers will play PSYBER X someday and do you see large companies coming into this space? And what do you think? When will we see the first playable version?

JBOSS: We believe PSYBER X will change how blockchain games are made. Yes, there are large companies coming into this space to create large games. It could be many years until they are come to fruition though. We plan to have a head start before they get to the playing field.

We plan to have the Alpha version ready for our Founders to start testing, and making suggestions in late Q2. This will consist of many 30 people at this time. Upon full launch we hope to achieve many more than Splinterlands have achieved to date. The full game launch is planned for End of year

We at HiQ have always wanted a smart, stylish and sexy way to log into our favorite dApps. HAS is now paving the way. How? Read for yourself.

The Hive Autentication Service is the brainchild of @arcange, whose presentation at HiveFest we were able to listen to and get a first impression of the project. It was not only his French accent that convinced us, but also the project itself.

PeakD has also already integrated the login via HAS. Of course, our raving author @smooms has already tried the HAS. With success. He was able to log in to PeakD using the Hive Keychain app on his Samsung Galaxy S9+ Android phone. (Editor's note: And even just in time for the editorial deadline. LOOL)

What is clear is the pragmatics: no longer do you have to rely on storing keys on EVERY device, only one central device is needed and can be used for each device to ensure login. Despite all this, it doesn't add to the complexity, because the app you use to be able to use HAS is still Keychain.

At the top right, as if by a programmer's hand, a QR code now appeared in the Keychain app. In the eyes of the HiQ editorial team, an extremely stylish way to implement the HAS into an already existing project. Since the Hive Keychain is now an integral part of the Hive Cosmos, this was a very smart move.

Now we can only hope that more projects will implement the HAS login. (Editor's note: For example Splinterlands, they don't have a HAS login yet. At least not as of the publication of this issue.).

The login via PeakD works totally smoothly via QR code, which has to be scanned by the Keychain app. (After entering your username in the login window nest to HIVEAUTH).

In the Keychain app, another window now appears where you can specify the Session Validity, i.e. the time you want to stay logged into PeakD.

And in no time at all you have authenticated yourself with PeakD.

From now on, a request is sent to the mobile keychain for every transaction that is used with the logged-in dApp. (And this is then signed via HAS).

In the Keychain app, you can see a green dot when you are authenticated in an app. If you hold this down, you can log out of all apps at the same time.

The HiQ editorial team is also enthusiastic about HAS from a technical point of view. You can tell that a lot of brainpower went into this project.

HAS acts as a middleman between the Hive application and the key storage, and handles the authentication. HAS checks if the user who wants to use the keys has them stored in his keychain, communicates with the dApp, creates a session and logs the user in.

We are trapped in a 96 hours lasting HiQsekai about Diesel Pools, roughly 59 Tokens and strange subliminal messages. Following the "No Game - No Hive" hivestyle @thatgrandastine opened up the BEEcada Hole with the account @nectar-queen as GOD of GameOfDefiance.

Do we witness CICADA 3301.3307 or is it just a scam reaching a five digit USD sum? But what's the saying? No Game - No Hive and No Risk - No Life! (Editor's note: Stop spinning around everything in your HiQsekai or else [REDACTED].)

quekery: Ah, I see. An anonymous persona posted a complex puzzle to a BEE /b/-forum, that got people all around the world involved. The prime number 3301 as a starting and anchor point, also known as Cicada 3301. (Editor's note: If you want to pre it.) There are a lot of myths and theories when it comes to the reason behind Cicada 3301: A Cult, a recruitment scheme by a big company, etc.!? And the Hive Engine Token CICADA has the name 3307 which is a prim number as well.

mary-me: The related accounts communicate with each other since 2017. There are old and new ones. At first I thought these are all sock puppets of one mastermind, but it doesn't seem to be the case, since all of the old accounts play dCity since 2017.

quekery: Can we find more Tokens through those accounts?

thatgermandude: I will have a look at @thegrandestine's wallet and check for Tokens, maybe this way we can spot all related Tokens.

mary-me: I will stalk the alt-accounts, maybe we can find a clue, when we list them all - I bet there are not that many.

The best Easter Eggs:

1. Token names

Some of the token names seem to be clues about the "BEEcada Hole". (Editors note: is it related to @blue.rabbits rabbit hole or is it coincidence that this is happening right before Easter, remains a mystery.) The biggest clue is for sure the CICADA Token name 3307. This prime number is no coincidence.

The token PALACE is referencing Wonderland through his name tread lightly in Wonderland. Many accounts and tokens have queen in their name or as their issuer, which is a known figure in Wonderland. The red queen is an alteration of the queen of hearts from Alice in Wonderland.

Also GOD with the name GameOFDefiance gives us a clue. (Note by @quekery: It is a game.)

2. Secret messages and mysterious pictures in the metadata

In the metadata of the tokens are sublimial messages in texts and pictures. EVE for example has an image file showing a clock in the metadata. The clockhands are at 10:10:04.

The token name is eYe am eVe, which is an anagram for eVe am eYe. In the metadata we can read "image link about to go doWn". What is the W supposed to mean? Another anagram? Should we mirror the clockhands?

Questions upon questions and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

There also images of crowns and hearts in the metadata. They seem to point to wonderland analogies as well.

The token OH packs a lot of mystery as well:

Names, metadata and image raise a lot of questions. Our brain is [REDACTED]. PS: The max supply is 42. Coincidence?

The token CICADA is special as well. In the metadata we found the following image:

The HiQ Detectives recognized the crown on the picture. Because in the metadata of CROWN we find this:

The image of CICADA looks eerily similar to the profile picture of @thegrandestine. Coincidence? Or your theory of Chaos was correct? (Editor's note: That is the token name of BUTTERFLY.) What would the queen of hearts say? She seems to be a number mastermind aswell.

3. Supply, max. Supply, Precision
A game, where the tokens are game units and/or clues, who would have thought? FOREST for example is named the sacred system of god, was created by @the-forest, has a precision of 3, a supply of 2 and a max supply of 1000000. So there are 2 forests, that can be partially bought?

TREE shouldn't be burned - makes sense. Also there are no fractions of TREE (Note by @quekery: lool), since the precicions is 0. 530 is the supply and 53 is a prime number. A sign? (Editor's note: You tree signers!)

FAITH can be purchased? The supply is at 337, which is a prime number. Prime numbers are natural numbers. Is FAITH therefore natural? Supposedly if you listen to BUTTERFLY. Also FAITH might be prime since it is a prime number.

Alright, we need SOUL. At the same time SOUL can be broken, since there are 8 decimal places. 1007 was not a prime number, but 1007=19x53. That means SOUL is a multiple of prime and more important than FAITH. Maybe someone should mint PRIME, open up a pool and as a reward you get SOUL and FAITH. If it happens, we called it!

A little treat for last. CROWN has the ID 571, which is a prime number. The max supply has the prime number 317 in it. ROYAL has the ID 570. That means ROYAL was there before CROWN. (Editor's note: Chicken/Egg?) Calculated?

We could go on and on. (Note by @thatgermandude: Hive on!) But we can't use parts of TREE, so we have to be careful with the PAPER we are printing on. Also the dCity clue might be worth investigating. In the SWAP.HIVE:SIM pool CICADA is listed as a reward. Coincidence?

Freshly arrived in the hivefish Basin, I swam through the depths of the blockchain as a still small redfish to fathom it. A sea of communities overwhelmed me in their individuality, from finely analysed statistics on cryptos to self-developed projects and contributions of all kinds, it really is all there.

What I lacked was the spark needed to animate me to have an experience on the blockchain. Apart from this challenge, which is dwarfing everything right now: I'm writing for HiQ. Believe me, I'm still shaking like a leaf, yet smartly and sexily not letting on. So I continued to swim through the Chain looking for the glowing sparks and look and behold... how did the little light suddenly get so close?

Headed straight for the light, it drew me in like a deep-sea fish to its prey. Don't worry, I wasn't eaten - rather, with just one click, the hiveatlantic ocean of creativity awaited me: NeedelWorkMonday! The hive walk of dexterity for true artists.

Admittedly, I learned the tailoring trade, but was never able to earn a decent salary to be able to enjoy the profession. Here at Hive, a whole new set of opportunities opens up that excites other newcomers to Chain and I decided to join in. "Jackpot!", I thought to myself.

This community ignited in me the spark I was looking for to develop creatively and individually on the blockchain, to become a fat whale in the far, far future. I was amazed by the craftsmanship of the users in this community.

As I was able to find out, the #needleworkmonday is only set on Mondays, as the name already suggests. Since the community grew quickly and many users were willing to present their works, the administrators moved the #needleworkday to the rest of the week to ensure the capacity of the users. After all, it should be ensured that everyone gets a piece of the pie of the voting mana, wasn't it?

Immediately crochet skills of @irenenavarroart showed up, expressing incredible skill, but also a @blezyn showcasing her dexterity in baby crochet dresses. Simply adorable, I tell you. When it comes to sewing, you can't fool @smilestiches, @fiberfrau and @neumannsalva.... they know what they can do, put it straight into practice and make the little star sparkle on NeedelWorkMonday.

@shainbeer demonstrates extraordinary skills in the form of her knitting abilities. A cosy warm blanket that immediately invited to snuggle up on cold winter days had to be voted. Inspired by the members, I set to work on my first piece. Still completely disoriented, my skills first had to be brought back up to speed in order to be able to keep up at all.

After crash landing in the community, I was immediately warmly welcomed and hope to see you there someday. Dare to be smarter, more stylish and sexier like real HiQ subscribers.... so I invite you to the NeedelWorkMonday Community on PeakD. ★

You always wanted to pay via the Lightning network with HIVE or HBD? Then we have good news for you: It's already possible. Whoop whoop! And the scriber needs a third row. Here it is. LOOL.

Why do hivestylers get up at 9:00? - Well, because the Supermarket closes at 10:00.

A known problem is, at least in Germany, you would like to convert your HIVE into a voucher - but unfortunately you first have to exchange your HIVE into a more common cryptocurrency like LTC or BTC to complete the desired payment.

This problem is now a thing of the past, thanks to the app https://lnd.v4v.app/ from @brianoflondon and @ausbitbank. Here you can easily use HIVE and HBD to make payments on the Lightning Network. Reason enough for @quekery to do a test run on the voucher site he trusts. For test purposes he wanted to load 10.000 Sats there. For this purpose he generated a payment invoice for Lightning and inserted it on https://lnd.v4v.app/. For privacy reasons, this is blacked out in the image.

Steemworld was yesterday
The old hands can certainly still remember Steemworld and how useful and important such a tool is next to the frontends to get certain data and stats about accounts and behaviour. The Leo people have renewed their Steemworld competitor. https://hivestats.io/ is the name of the site. Non-believers are welcome to test it, maybe you'll like it.

Ledger for Hive
@engrave has developed a Hive Ledger Application. This is sure to please many hivestylers. (Editor's note: For example, our whale intern @balte.) Now the application just needs to pass a security check. We can hardly wait.

...Reliant on transaction status
Hive is a mysterious and complex construct. Splinterlands and its onrushing masses of users pushed Witnesse to its limits. Witness nodes were blocked, which meant that some functions had to be asynchronous. However, this broke some dApps that relied on the transaction ID. The dApps had to rewrite their code to avoid the problem of being left without a transaction ID. On 24/02/2022 from 17:00 UTC, a special new promo card will be available for purchase at @splinterlands - WAKA SPIRITBLADE. It will be available for purchase in two sale phases - the first phase will take place in-game. For a whopping 5000 SPS and 500 VOUCHERS you can get one of 500 (Editor's note: If they weren't sold out already. LOOOOOOOL.). This can also become a golden card after you have bought it. In total there will be 20 golden cards and the Summoner is max level. The second phase will start after the first phase is sold out and will be on Wax. (Editor's note: The process is similar to the first phase, but the price is not).

How @themyscira got her hivy trinity on the blockchain
Two years ago or so @quekery came around the DC corner and said, "Hey @themyscira, we have a blockchain here that operates without censorship and with cryptos. How about it, want to give it a try? You're permanently blocked on social media after all."

To which @themyscira replied, "Yeah, sure, let's set up the account right now." Painstakingly, @quekery went through the procedures step by step with @themyscira. The technicalities were completely new to @themyscira and she tried her best. After everything was set up, Queker asked, "And @themyscira? Where's your #introduceyourself? We want to send you a vote from the HiQ!"

Her palms where sweaty as @themyscira tried to open the chain to access her account, and the first misery happened. The keychain scenario started. @themyscira says, "Haha, I don't have the Keychain passwords anymore. Lool." To which @quekery said, "How? You have to save them properly and not forget them.... come on, we'll make you a new account!"

@quekery's will of steel paved the way for the second attempt. All lights are on HIVE-GO. After some time, @quekery again posed the question, "Where's your #introduceyourself on Hive?" So @themyscira, full of chagrin at still not having written the Introduceyourself post, set to work, wanting to log into her account, and the second keychain scenario took its course.... OMG, the keys were not there!

@quekery's head-shaking at how this could happen was surely heard on all Discord servers. @themyscira with a newly awakened sense of duty and no distraction of nonsense, dared a third attempt. @quekery was already rolling his eyes at this suggestion. His kindness and unfathomable patience gave him renewed strength to make a third attempt with @themyscira and so they set to work. Tadaaa and so @themyscira is now there and thus receives her hivy trinity.

An ominous hive-user, which is unknown until today, comments under posts (Editor's note: As described in this post.), where User X asks for a proposal-upvote and offers 100 HIVE to the upvoters. To vote you have to click on a link where the "hacker" apparently strikes and grabs the hive credentials. And once again for the last one who still doesn't get it, because we see.... IT STILL EXISTS... NEEEEEEEEEVEEEEER enter (Editor's note: geen manier nie - në asnjë mënyrë - مستحيل - 没门 - niemals - pas moyen - niente da fare etc.) your fucking keys on some fucking site. (Editor's note: And especially not your owner/master key. That's [REDACTED].) Check which site asks for your keys and if you are unsure, don't do it.
