Yo! My man Alex Hormozi puffs out his sparks of wit at quite a rate on his YouTube videos. I picked up three gems within a minute or two of listening to one of his talks yesterday.

Here's the first:

The more you give the more you grow, the more you take the more you shrink. Alex Hormozi

To put it in context, he was talking about the process of putting out content in relation to growing a business. He was making the point that you need to be offering value not looking for a fast sale and that the more (value) you give the more you grow (your audience).

On the other hand, the more you try to take in quick one-off sales the more likely it is that your audience will shrink.

So the primary goal should be to grow your audience by offering value - that is, by giving away information that is valuable to them.

Let's imagine you have written an ebook that is jam-packed with high value content. Don't worry if you give your audience all your secrets for free on your YouTube channel... The point is. If they like you enough, plenty of your audience will still buy your ebook because they are paying to have all the hot (not so secret anymore) "secrets" collated in ONE convenient place and combined with your insightful commentary. They are paying for convenience as much as for the secrets.

That, at least, was my takeaway from what Alex Hormozi was talking about in that part of the video I was watching. He's a great example of packing value into his free content and generating a massive following - and eye-watering amounts of sales revenue from his efforts.

Cheers!
