My Plan For The CTP 30 Day Content Challenge - Revealed! ;)

avatar

Well, here it is, my hyper-complex plan for the next thirty days of content creation for the #ctpcontent challenge!

It really comes down to this: post content on CTP Talk for 30 days! LOL!

Yes, I want to make four videos, but guess what I'll do with them... Post them on CTP Talk of course (via Odysee).

I also intend to post some updates on Noise.Cash - but that will simply be to promote my blog posts on CTP Talk.

Lastly, I want to send out some broadcasts to my lists letting them know about the CTP Content Challenge and updating them on my progress.

That's it! And here it is in glorious technicolour:

My Five Habits (Day 7) Update

Once this blog post has been published I will have completed my seventh day doing all five habits so I'm quite happy about that...

Habit #1 Do 10 Press-Ups

When I got up this morning I was happy that my legs were not aching after last night's session of footsal. It's the third week in a row that I've played footsal, but the first one when my legs did not ache the next morning. I did a fair bit of "running" for an old geezer - it was great fun charging around in the pouring rain!

Anyway, I was feeling pretty chipper this morning and did some loosening up and leg stretches before bashing out 13 press-ups! Yup, that's one more than yesterday and three more than the requirement. I followed it up with my usual 75 second squatting exercise, but once again skipped the weightlifting.

Habit #3 Chess Study

I went over yesterday's five opening variations and then studied five more openings for today, which got me through the Marshall Defence (2) and into the Semi-Slav (3).

Later in the day I revised several of the openings that I've studied over the last week. I did that in over a coffee in the city centre just before going to the clinic for my second COVID-19 vaccination.

Habit #5 Lucrece Paper

I did some background reading and a bit of research online this morning, but I think I ought to do a bit more reading before I turn in tonight as I was reading more about some Elizabethan gentlemen than about the poem itself.

Second Vaccination & Gifts of Beer!

I went into town early during a lull in the rain (yes, this week is another wet one in Hiroshima) because there was a risk that heavy rain would cause the tram system to shut down. Happily, the rain was not as hard or as incessant as forecast and the trams continued to run all day.

The doctor whose clinic I went to for my vaccination is one of my private students. He's very happy with the lessons I deliver and (as he has given up alcohol) he likes to pass on to me "thank you gifts" of beer that he receives from his happy patients. (Gift giving is a big "thing" in Japan, by the way.) So after I'd been jabbed he took me up to his apartment above the clinic and presented me with two gift boxes of beer and the last four months' lesson fees. Very nice!

It was heavy work lugging the beer back home with a freshly jabbed arm and legs that had been given a good run the previous evening, not that I'm complaining, mind!

Habit #2 Promote My Squeeze Page

I pulled in one new subscriber to my list from yesterday's viral mailer broadcasts.

Today I was able to send an email to multiple lists using ViralMailProfits "Power Mailer".

I also sent an email to YourViralMailet. The email was automatically posted to two associated mailers as well, so it went to about 3,500 email addresses.

The third mail shot went to DownlineMaxx, which only has a membership of about 355.

Habit #4 CTP Talk!

As usual, I finished the day's habits by posting on CTP Talk. To maintain my habit chain I only need to publish for times a week on CTPTalk, BUT now that I've committed to doing the #ctpcontent challenge, I have to post here every day until the 21st September.

Wish me luck!

Cheers,

David Hurley

Nice to see you taking nice exercice habits. Man I would love to play footsal. I play ball with my son on the field outside my house but I have to take care not to injure myself. I'm getting old... LOL

Well, I'm one of the oldest players in the group and it's a bit of a struggle, but also great fun. It's nice to be playing some kind of football again after a break of 10 years (excluding one kickaround five years ago in England)!

Glad you are keeping your habit progress for a full week. Also, happy you were able to get the second shot. I have never had those brands of beer.

Thanks. The Habitbull app has made a big difference, especially for the daily press-up routine, which I almost certainly would not have done consistently without it.

Kirin is one of the the big four brewers in Japan, along with Asahi, Sapporo and Suntory. Yebisu is a brand that is owned by Suntory.
