RE: Do you vote for your own posts and comments? Let's talk?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I don't vote on my own content. I haven't done that for years because I think I earn decent either way. However, if my articles would simply be rewarded nothing or close to nothing, I would probably self-vote as I strongly believe that my content is worth at least what my own upvote is worth. (~0.285 LEO)

I don't judge people though, except for people shit-posting or spamming only to upvote their own content. That is a terrible behaviour that I would never endorse or recommend.

You touched on a subject that was interesting and it makes sense, you know how hard you worked to make that post and nobody rewarded you in the way that you thought was fair.

I also think the same way.

Yeah, I mean.. I'm not trying to say that I am a better author than anyone, because I don't consider myself to be more than a decent author, but I know that I put in a lot of time and effort in my creations, so I think it's fair to self-vote at least ~0.285 worth of LEO if I risk being without rewards for any of my contributions. Especially as I can see other articles with more pending rewards, even though they have spent only a fraction of the time and/or research on the content.
