Hello splinterlords and splinterladies around the world? Playing a daily quest today was very easy for me due to one of the monsters.
Death summoners were given to me to complete my daily quest. I was pricked in the heart because my death summoner is very weak and right now I don't have money to upgrade to level 3. Whenever I am given a death summoner to complete my daily, I used to lose battles that normally drop my points.
This is what I am always trying to avoid while using the death summoner to complete my daily quest. Today was no exception: the case was as usual but one thing I was happy about was that I did not lose so much unlike before.
This was the result of a monster I used frequently to play my daily quest, the monster is GRIM REAPER. You are surprised that I mentioned grim reaper; yea, it is.
The ability of this monster is impeccable in some battles, especially when you understand the best rules and best position to use it.
One of the characteristics that made me use this monster in this type of rule was the speed, the speed of my grim reaper is 2, which is suitable for this rule. With this speed, it attacks faster but not the first attacker but probably attacks after monsters with 1 speed attack.
Another characteristic of grim reaper is the range attack, the range attack of 4 is big enough to give me victory.

RULESET

Reverse Speed: Monster with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance to evading attacks. This is one of the best rules to use a grim reaper because of its speed. Using a grim reaper in this kind of battle would help you in the battle.
Therefore, you can test the efficacy of this monster whenever the reverse speed rule is given to you, you will understand better why i said that.

I was paired with @Darthtranus in this battle of which I needed one battle to complete my daily quest. The moment I saw the reverse speed rule, I was happy because I knew that by the end of the battle. I would be victorious. There was no iota of doubt in me the moment I saw reverse rule. I did not think of any summoner to use rather than death summoner and grim reaper must be among my monsters.
The only thing that would make me not use death summoner is when grim reaper is not among my cards selection. The next summoner to use if there was no grim reaper was the water summoner.
The good news was that I found a grim reaper in my cards’ selection and I picked it without having any doubt in my heart.
The mistake that my opponent @Darthtranus made was using fire summoner pyre, which gives one speed to all friendly monsters and this battle does not require high speed monsters or summoners.

LINEUP

Undead Rexx: the important of this monster in this battle was the melee, attacking any monster with 5 melee is devastation. Attacking living lava damages its 2 armor and has the ability to damage 3 armor or health. Though, I knew Undead Rexx would not last in this battle because it does not have shield ability that would allow it to stay longer in the battle.
Undead Rexx was eliminated at the beginning of the second round.

Bone Golem: I knew that Undead Rexx would not be able to stay longer, that was my reason for selecting Bone Golem as backup for Undead Rexx. Bone Golem led the battle to victory and it was not eliminated throughout the battle.
The reason I used Bone Golem as the backup was the 1 speed it possessed. This speed would make this monster attack faster than any other rules. Therefore, Bone Golem would attack faster which it did throughout the battle. It was the first monster that attacks in each round after Undead Rexx was destroyed.

Phantom Soldier: The first monster I put in this position was Octopider. I thought that if bone Golem is destroyed in this battle, Octopider would not be able to lead the battle. That was the reason I changed my mind to use other monsters. I thought of using Boogeyman but due to its slow ability which is not necessary in this battle made me change my mind to Phantom Soldier.

Sandworm: this neutral monster was just perfect for the battle as its sneaky ability was functional to the optimum level. I placed it in fourth position so that it would be eliminated in no time. I protected the sandworm because of its functionality.
Sandworm was the first monster to attack, it attacked Etin Spearman from behind and eliminated it in the third round due to divine shield ability. Etin Spareman would have been eliminated at the second round of the battle but divine ability protected it.

Grim Reaper: this monster is very good in this kind of battle. You could see how it was damaging 4 health from opponent monsters. Grim Reaper was undisputed in this battle.

Octopider: The reason for being the last monster was the health because it would take a sandworm twice to eliminate Octopider and also it can attack in that position.
