The goals…

My 3rd progress report already, time just flies.
And I almost had to revise my goals for this year... I'm probably the only one who's glad the Hive price hasn't continued to soar. 😉
Yes, I also noticed the pump from a few days ago. Unfortunately, I haven't been on Hive long enough to keep enough Hives on hand to make a quick trade.
Even worse, if you look at my goals for this year, you will understand that a rising price is not my favorite.
As a reminder, below are my updated goals:

Both goals are currently on track.
The money saved by cutting back on smoking still follows my expectations. We (my wife and I) have not completely stopped smoking yet, but the urge to reach for a cigarette is getting less and less. If we can keep this up, achieving that goal will be easy to achieve or even better...we'll see.

The second goal, however, could be jeopardized by pumps like the past few days. If the price per Hive continues to rise like this, I will be able to buy a lot less Hives with the money saved from goal 1. I had already played it safe (or so I thought) by setting the average price at 0.50€/Hive, but if the price rises above that, I have a problem. A luxury problem, but a problem nonetheless.
I will probably have to change my strategy and instead of systematically buying and increasing my HP, wait for the times when the price is low and then do a power up in 1 go...

The portfolio

At first sight, the portfolio is evolving favourably, a return of 18% is not bad in this short period. But this is mainly due to Hive's price increase...
Indeed, I got a little too carried away with the hive-engine game 🤪 If you go into detail, I've suffered a loss on almost all of those tokens since my previous state of affairs. In addition to this sheet, I keep more data and the return on my hive-engine tokens is now... -22%. Especially the price of the HIQ-token killed me. (I use the Bid price of the tokens in this overview)
The only standout among all those losers is the Alive token. It has remained virtually stable in price and also pays dividends on a daily basis.
So, one that I will definitely buy more, if only because I can also hand out tips with it from the moment I staked 1000. And given the value of my upvote, such a tip is much more interesting... but we are working on it 😁

Anyway, I think I'm going to be a bit more careful in the coming weeks with all those tokens. In the meantime I already have a whole bunch that I haven't even listed in my sheet, but I'm afraid that many of them are only useful... increasing my loss 😂

Other stuff…

I don't really have much other stuff to report. Except maybe I've gotten a wee bit addicted to getting badges on hivebuzz.
I am now the proud owner of my first...

... and now I participate to obtain the power up month badge.
Ok, there aren't many badges yet, but then I haven't been here that long eh 🤪
