My second (active) week on Hive and… already the end of the month.

It's been a week since I posted here but I warned you… I'm not a blogger so you won't see me posting much. However, that doesn't mean I'm not active here and I keep discovering something new every day.
For example, since my last post, I have discovered the different tokens in hive-engine. You will also see them appear in my weekly excel sheet in which I keep track of my progress. Not that they will contribute much to the final result, but it is fun to "play" with them 😊

Speaking of progress, here's the sheet:

If you were wondering how someone who posts so little goes from 0 to almost 300 HP in a month, I can only refer you to my previous posts for a more detailed explanation. In short, I invest the money I save by smoking less in... Hives. Call it an experiment with money that would otherwise go up in smoke and… the end result will definitely be a better health!

Another thing I've discovered are the various "contests" that are organized here on Hive. One of them is @susie-saver and @eddie-earner's Saturday Savers club. The aim here is to get yourself to set annual savings goals and exchange tips every Saturday on how to achieve your goals. To be honest, I had discovered this club in my first week on Hive already, but I wanted to find out how things work here before officially setting goals.
And I've done that now so... time for another excel sheet 😉

My first goal is of course the daily amount in € I save. If I get that, it means I'm on the right track to ban smoking permanently.
My 2nd goal is to increase my HP by that saved amount. Difficulty here is being realistic considering Hive's fluctuating price. Since I don't have much historical data, I played it safe and estimated the price per Hive higher than the current price, ie 0.5€ per Hive. If the price stays below that point it will be easy to reach my goal. If the price rise above… well, I will not reach my goal. (but the value of my portfolio will rise also) Time will tell if I've been too optimistic or not...

BTW… I actually already bought some more Hives, but besides the above club I also discovered the Hive Power Up day… so I will try to get my badge on @hivebuzz tomorrow 😉

Well, that's it for this weekly report. I've already done my best for a non-blogger I think.
