And I Overcame My Fear

Everyone in life has one experience feat or the other. Children most times are afraid of falling that's why they meticulously walk so as not to fall. Even adults are not so at home with falling. Failure is not anyone's pleasure though when one fails he rises with lots of experience to face the issues of tomorrow.

Sometimes last year I was called upon by the women union of my local church to represent the women in a quiz competition, I was not so comfortable with that decision because I h!ve not done that before coupled with the fact that I was heavily pregnant. You know this competition will require that I seat and study my Bible and other related materials which I was not ready to do so. I gave several excuses which they refused to listen to.

When I arrived at the venue to my greatest surprise I was told the passage I was given was not the correct one. Hmmm, I couldn't talk. I just picked a seat at a particular place to study from the beginning and was done within one hour.

When it was time, my colleague surprised me she couldn't res]ond to any of the questions that were asked. God helped me I took first in the competition. Wow, I was so happy 😁 and all the women around. They almost carried me up if not that I was pregnant I was also happy for myself.

Fear is the direct opposite of faith. No matter what the fear is if one can have a strong faith in himself it can be overcome. Also, confidence is very good in whatsoever we do. Just have confidence in yourself.
