IT BECAME MY TURN AROUND MOMENT

Hello, my lovely people, I wish you a happy weekend. It's another moment of a contest for us.

Everyone in life remembers a day in his or her life that makes the beginning of another greater achievement. To some, it's more than one and to others, it's just one event that stands out. Welcome to my blog today as I take you on a little stroll through what has made me so happy and I didn't regret the actions.

What stood out for me was the decision to study at my chosen university. It took me writing Jamb 4 times before I got admission into the higher institution. Those times of waiting were not so easy, but the joy of it remains that I didn't give up. The year I got admission was the same year most of my classmates in secondary school were in their final year. At times the way especially the ladies speak will even make one want to cry.

Going to a higher institution changed a lot of things about me in a positive direction. For instance, I was able to set good boundaries for myself. The University is a place you are left to do a lot for yourself, most times no one questions your decision. Despite none of my close relatives being there with me I set good boundaries for myself and kept them religiously.

My second most celebrated moments are times I give a helping hand to people in need. I have seen myself doing that right from my childhood days. So, when I grew older and still found myself along that line I took it more seriously. I remember meeting a young man who has tried several times to get admission to other institutions but couldn't. So I helped him to secure admission to my institution and today he is undergoing a one-year national service.

Recently I got in contact with a woman that needs so much help as her husband is no more, then I offered to help in my little way. You can get details here

As I have seen myself giving help in diverse ways I have decided to make it a more regular thing. Do watch my space here for more details. You can also be a part of what I do.

It is so important to understand the purpose of anything we do as it will guide subsequent decisions as to when the reason for a thing is not to know the abuse of it will be massive.

Am glad that I participated in this contest as organized by the #hivelearners community week 15 edition 3.

I encourage all to participate as well.

Thank you for visiting my blog

Being helpful to the needy in our midst, making sure they are able to see another day and survive a bit longer is no easy feat. As we keep trying to do our best to help humanity, we will always be given the capacity to do so.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
